Panavise239 Speed Control Handle for 201, 203, 207 and 209

The PanaVise Model 201 "Junior" is so useful to begin with but this little add-on makes it even better. This wheel clips onto the handle used to tighten the jaws and makes opening and closing the vise quite a bit easier. Now you can stick a finger into the larger hole, the one that is not in the center, and rotate it to open and close. It also helps with tightening the vise by providing a larger diameter to turn. The clips on the handle don't engage that well so the handle can fall off from time to time. One nice thing is you can remove it easily if it interferes with what you are holding. Personally I like the handle so much that I put a dab of hot glue on the control wheel so it does not come off. Bottom line is it is very useful and worth the price.

I like it just how it is.Word of warning: If you snap it on and off and on and off repeatedly it might not fit as snug eventually. Great addition to the vise. In fact, it makes the vise.One star deduction: I agree with others, this should be standard on the vise. Some bean counter's idea of how to make an extra 9 cents per unit, but all it's doing is ticking off the customer.

I use this vise for my electronics hobby. It hold small items to allow me to have 2 hands free to work on them.

it's just a simple piece of plastic, but you can adjust your panavise very quickly with it. It's handy for the circuit board holder as I find myself repositioning my work frequently.

Despite it's usefuleness, if you have used the Panavise Jr. for long, you know that adjusting the jaws can be painfully slow. This add-on is a great way to handle this problem, so much so that it kind of makes you wonder why they don't include it with the item, but I suppose that it would add a small cost that some would possibly find unnecessary in certain situations. Either way, if you want to open and close the jaws faster, get this.

The threads on the vice are very narrow, so this item will make it a little easier when opening and closing the vice more than a few inches. The problem is that it keeps falling off if you winding it too fast; and I don’t really want to glue it on the vice handle. It should have some type of clips to lock it in place. It would also be much more practical and less time consuming if it was designed as a crank similar to a guitar string winder, which would also need some way on locking it in place.

Easy on, easy off accessory for PanaVise models 201, 203, 207 and 209. You can grab the whole handle for better control or you can stick your finger in the hole for faster adjustments. Made of a single piece of solid plastic, great quality as you'd expect from PanaVise

This works quite well, but is a bit expensive
