Would you still love me if i woke up as a wretched bug?Or would you treat me as a burden and let me starve to death? [⬆️Joking] (for shoppers) : The print is great and the pages are nice and the cover is shiny! (go for it) Review (also for shoppers) : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 This book is quite simple to read (its about a man who wakes up as a bug one morning and what happens to him after his transformation) ; But there's so much to unpack. There's so many ways in which this could be interpreted, the sole breadwinner of the family who was giving them a comfortable life, all of a sudden becomes incapable to do anything at all. At first his family has hope, maybe he will go back to normal, maybe he's just sick. As time goes by he doesn't turn back to his human-self and as the family's funds start running out he starts becoming a burden to them. This story applies to so many people around us, take old people for instance how in a lot of cases families start to see the same parents who rasied them, as burdens, as they start to get old and incapable of doing things. Take people who lose their jobs, take people who can't keep ip up with the expectations of their families. There are so many people who might relate to his situation, not literally ofcourse; But the tragic life Gregor Samsa led is like a mirror to so many people's lives and how they're treated by people around them. Kafka wrote this book as a way to express his feelings towards his father and the traumaticrelationship he had with him (Gregors father is one hell of a guy in the book as well). ----------- Anyway, great, short read ! Excuse me if i made any errors in the review Im straight up writing this on amazon ( im lazy)
