Very hearty as far as a protein powder. Thicker, and milk taste..but i am all for the higher protein count. Taste fine, just maybe mix with something, not horrible at all. I would rather drink this, than any other. No smell, does not clump, nor upset my stomach. Great brand and the size for the amount you pay is great!! The ingredients are clean for sure!! Love Muscle Feast..always my go to brand!

This micellar casein very filling. I'm currently having my first drink, as I write this review, so I can't review its long term effect. I mixed 1 scoop with 6 oz of unsweetened flax milk and 4 oz of water, and, the bugger is thick. I'm not saying this is good or bad, it was just surprising. It is so thick and flavorful, that I feel I'll enjoy it better with just water alone. The stevia, meaning the sweetness, was a bit much for me. Even with the unsweetened flax milk, it was a bit sweet, but that's subjective. It may be perfect for other is users. I couldn't locate an unsweetened version, but that'd be my preference next go 'round. Now on to the packaging. Prior to purchasing, few rewiewers gave their opinion on the packaging, stating that it is hard to close. Thank you for the heads up. The same thing happened to me, but after several frustrating attempts, I examined closer. Here's the issue - the package comes unzipped, so the powder clogs the zip closer. Here is my fix - I got a new toothbrush and used it to remove the powder that took up residence in the groove. I had no problem sealing it then. All the best on taking control of your health.

Unlike many others, I use casein for everything one would normally use whey: post workout, morning smoothie, late night snack, protein pudding, etc. The reasons are simple: it’s a slow release protein to help build big muscles (if that’s your goal, it’s micellar casein) and it keeps me fuller longer, much longer than whey. The problem is, there are not many companies who do casein well. What’s popular in many wheys and caseins are the artificial sweeteners. I am suspect of their long term usage health effects and know they cause brain fog, fatigue and other negative side effects now in me now so I avoid them. It is very very hard to find a clean ingredients list and the use of what I consider a safer sweetener: stevia. Then comes in Muscle Feast's casein, a very welcome addition at a very good price. I got vanilla and have enjoyed using them. But I have to say, I have issues with taste and mix ability. It tastes...ok...and it’s nearly impossible to get smooth even with a blender. But I’m ok with that given the clean ingredient list, cost, and the results of using it. I definitely grow with this protein and stay fuller: two of my most important considerations. As long as they don’t jack up the price (it seems like all protein makers have been lately), Muscle Feast has a new regular customer. But Muscle Feast: bring us banana flavored!

I have bought muscle feast protein powder multiple times before & will keep purchasing their protein powder. Besides being grass-fed, the product itself has the shortest list of ingredients, simple & to the point. It also tastes very good, blends incredibly easy, very affordable & now it comes in a very convenient bag that takes less space when you start running out of the protein. I recommend it & will buy as long as Muscle Feast keeps making it.

Excellent product

I've been really pleased with this product, as well as others in the Muscle Feast line. You can't beat the price, especially when looking for supplements without fillers or artificial sweeteners, like Sucralose, which has harmful effects over time. It mixes great in water, and I really like the vanilla flavored one - haven't had chocolate. Depending on what I used to mix it with, it would sometimes have a slight grittiness (normally if I only stirred it), but pretty much unnoticeable. I'm much more pleased with it in comparison to other previous brands, like ON. I think the taste is just as good, if not better. And I've noticed some good lean gains while using. I recommend definitely trying their products out.

I searched for a while before I came across this stuff. I was looking for a good casein powder that was pure casein with some flavor and basically nothing more. Well folks this is it. From what I've seen, the protein to calorie ratio on this stuff beat most others out there and even the sodium and sugar are lower too. Additionlly the powder is pretty fine and so mixes easily via spoon. Lastly the flavor- I bought vanilla- is decent too for what you get.

Love the grass fed proteins and NonGMO and particularily love casein slow acting protein...but why oh why do they all not have a strong chocolate or vanilla flavor? Please add more flavor so long as it is not unflavored and I have never purchased that. The last thing I want to do is add more vanilla or chocolate to a protein powder. Please HELP! Thank you in advance.
