Perfect, easy reading. I enjoyed this book from start to finish.

The first book I've ever read by this author and I know, I'm late to the party. I've had a few saved in my wishlist for some time waiting on price-drops, cos' I'm cheap like that, then finally one dropped sufficiently. I will definitely be happy to buy one now at the proper price, since I so enjoyed this one.She keeps you guessing the whole way through as to who may or may not be guilty. Let's face it, ALL those kids had good reason to finish the old man off, it seems !! Loads of secrets 'n' lies abound among the whole bunch of them as well. I loved the ending, too ! That was terrific.Jenna was my favourite character as she just didn't give a stuff what she said or to who. Just my sort of person, as it happens !! There were some vey funny lines here and there that really made me chuckle to myself, too. And I know of a dentist who drives supercars so that gave me a giggle as well.There are loads of "ohmigod" shockers thrown in throughout as well so it really held my interest. One I guessed at, which I was quite proud about, but only the one instance.Now, my only little gripe was that one conversation I REALLY wanted to be party to between Audrey and Ellen she didn't let us in on. I was greatly looking forward to that but we only rejoined the story for the aftermath of it, sadly.Superbly, I did not happen upon ONE mistake, and trust me, I'd have spotted it lurking if it was there. This for me always affords an author an extra * or 2 in and of itself, cos' it's so bloody rare to see it with digital books. They're usually FULL of errors and I find that pretty depressing. So very well done to all concerned-you're in a teeny-weeny little club that have managed to get it perfectly presented, trust me !!If you're a bit averse to bad language I'd give this a swerve but I'm not the least offended myself so I loved it.

Great read, so much suspense, loved the characters, each of them so well drawn. Shari Lapena is fast becoming one of my favourite authors.
