Waterproof
I do a lot of backpacking and hiking on the Appalachian Trail. The feet are always getting wet. I do not like waterproof shoes. But waterproof socks are a game changer. These socks are waterproof and keep your feet warm also. Love this brand.

Great socks for winter running
I run trails through the winter and regular socks just don't cut it in temps below freezing. I had a pair of ultrathin Sealskinz sock liners before, but lost them. I bought the medium weight, ankle height version in a size large. It perfectly fit my size 10E foot. Unlike my regular socks, the Sealskinz don't wrinkle when I slide my foot into a snug-fitting pair of Asics trail running shoes. My feet were warm at 24 degrees even though my shoes have a mesh toebox. Another plus is the socks are made in the UK! I highly recommend the Sealskinz for anyone who runs in the winter.

Great socks
I use their all weather socks too in cold conditions, but these are great for summer showers & downpours

OK, not the most comfy
I panic-purchased these ahead of a trip to Switzerland when the forecast showed constant rain! Seemed to work just fine. They are very thick and a bit stiff. Felt nice to layer softer socks under these.

Puddles in my socks
I'm not sure what happened but I was in the rain on grass and I ended up with puddles of water trapped in my socks. The water sloshed around and couldn't get out. I thought my shoes were filled with water but they were just wet. When I took off the socks, tons of water poured out. I don't know how that much water got in since I didn't step in any deep puddles. So maybe they are 1 way waterproof, letting water in but not letting it out!?

Ich LIEBE diese Socken!!! Eigentlich habe ich sie durch Zufall gefunden,- bei uns in Brandenburg ist immer nur sehr kurz Winter, und ich wollte keine Winterstiefel kaufen, sondern einfach weiter meine Turnschuhe tragen. Und da dachte ich: „vielleicht gibt es wasserdichte Socken?“ und suchte danach. Diese hier hatten die überzeugendsten Bewertungen, also habe ich sie bestellt. Und sie haben meine Erwartungen sogar übertroffen! Sie sind -wasserdicht (ich habe sie beim Regenspaziergang mit den Kindern getragen, und da waren überall Pfützen und nasse Wiese) -bequem (ich würde sie am liebsten ununterbrochen tragen, außer beim Schlafen, da sind sie mir zu warm) -warm (ich war stundenlang draußen beim Schneeschaufeln, und habe nie an den Füßen gefroren)(nur an den Fingern, ich brauche unbedingt sowas wie diese Socken noch für meine Hände!) -praktisch (man kann damit den vereisten Weg zum Briefkasten gehen, ohne vorher Schuhe anziehen zu müssen.) Also ich empfehle sie zu 100%. Leider haben meine Kinder meine Begeisterung mitbekommen, und sie auch anprobiert, und jetzt mussten wir noch zwei weitere Paare bestellen. Aber das lohnt sich auch, wenn man dafür auch den Kindern keine Winterstiefel kaufen muss. Ich habe Größe 38,5 und mir passt S perfekt. Meine Kinder haben 37 und ihnen passt S auch perfekt. Vielen Dank fürs lesen und viel Spaß mit den tollen neuen Socken, falls Sie sie kaufen! :-) es lohnt sich.

Deze was me aangeraden om droge voeten te behouden bij het lopen in de regen en plassen. Mijn loopschoenen werden dan wel nat, maar mijn voeten bleven droog. Een beetje een vreemd gevoel, omdat je wel het natte / koude voelt. Maar de sokken hielden mijn voeten wel goed warm in de koude en natte dagen bij het lopen.

Got these for my hike in cradle mountain in tassie. Not going to lie, there was so much water that it came in over the top but I don’t regret buying them. It was nice to have dry feet at the beginning of each day of the 12 day hike and not have to feel the wetness of my hiking boots

J’ai fait un trek de 110km avec sans aucun soucis. Température moyenne 19*. Très confortable pas de cloche et … étanche. Me permet de ne pas mettre des chaussure goretex et j’ai l’impression que ces chaussettes sont plus respirantes que le goretex.. peut être uniquement psychologique. J’ai une autre paire pour le vtt plus haute et chaude pour l’hiver. J’adore.
