Bought for my grandson for Xmas. He said it was a good read! He enjoyed it very much.

good for a english literature text. Quality text. Interesting.

There is so much to say about this book, but so little to read about it. My favourite kind of story: epistolary, and it’s carried out in a pleasing fashion. Without spoiling the delicious plot I’ll let you know that I had become diligently analytical of every single page upon reading it, and it will not disappoint you as a reader. Do not be afraid of the dark and mysterious atmosphere of Victorian London— go ahead, buy this book, indulge yourself in the plot, and become as intoxicated by it as I am.

Perfect to help my teenage son study for his GCSEs.

Perfect for my Daughters GCSE english

It's always interesting to read an iconic classic; particularly if it's entered the popular culture and / or become a film / movie. Ofen that means they're shorter than you expect, and not quite what you expect. This is one such case. I can see that the concept / story itself would have been shocking or sensational at the time, but society has changed and we're also reading this work after it entered the popular culture. So don't expect anything as shocking as American Psycho (which would be its equivalent), because everything was different in the 1880s.

Das Buch wurde als Vorgabe für die Schule angeschafft. Es scheint spannend geschrieben zu sein, jedoch habe ich es selbst nicht gelesen.

overall a rather large book. the font and spacing were nicely done, there's more than enough room for annotations (if you're into that).

A good read that provides insights into 'morality', and what 'humanness' means.

Loved it. Wonderful dive into the world of psychology, egos, relationships, and science fiction. I’ve been wanting to read this for a long time and was worried it would be difficult to understand. Some of the expressions are dated but also some are rather intelligent and interesting and sometimes funny.
