how do I adjust the spray radius from 360 to 180?

you turn the black ring below the orange colored top piece. It opens and closes a slot that changes the arc of the spray. Best to do this while sprinkler is running. The RainBird website is very informative on setting up and adjusting all of their equipment.

ad says you can adjust the variable arc. ARC not circumference spray! Can the arc be adjusted?

The circumference spray is adjusted by twisting the top of the nozzle. The distance is adjusted with a screw. Those are the only two adjustments I know of.

Do these fit the 1800 pop ups?

Yes, the VAN nozzles fit 1800 series Rainbird pop-ups. Highly recommended nozzle.

Does this fit on a non pop up sprinkler riser?

yes you can use them for non pop up sprinkler use, but you have to have PVC tubing with a screw in riser extension and use a shrub adapter. this thing then screws directly on to the shrub adapter
