Why is the same thing sold by the same manufacturer less if you buy the "mens" version?

I’ve always noticed that with store brand razors as well womens refills are usually cheaper than mens refills and womens razors might be the same price if not more. But these are way worth it if that means anything

Were the ones you used FIVE blade? It makes a difference. The three blade cartridges don’t work well for me no matter what brand they are. My personal favorite is Shick bc they seem to last longer for some reason, but I bought these bc they were such a good price on prime day. I’m happy with these. I think they are just as good as the Shick, but again, I don’t feel they last as long. However, when you factor in the difference in price, I think that makes them pretty equal. I hope these being 5 blade makes a difference for you. That’s the only reason I can think of that you might not be getting a good shave.

Will they fit hydro silk razor?

No, these don’t fit Schick handles. Only Gillette Venus
