This is a different product to the previous lismore double old fashioned glasses.
I purchased this 2 glass set to add to the existing Waterford crystal Lismore double old fashioned glasses I have in my collection. Waterford Crystal have obviously changed the manufacturer of these glasses (presumably outsourced from somewhere in the Far East), and they are no longer of the same heft or glass quality. The dimensions and cut are the same, however they do not feel as sturdy as the original glasses. I weighed these glasses. They weigh 364 grams, compared to the 448 grams each of my original glasses weigh. The 20% reduction in glass mean that they feel poor quality and cheap in comparison. I have therefore returned them. It’s a real shame Waterford have decided to cheapen their brand in search for greater profit. I would have been happy to pay a little more, rather than them diminish the quality of their product.
