Works great, good quality

The case is sturdy, nice looking PU, and has a great feel with flexible inner tabs & elastic bands that keep if sturdybut dont feel as if you can break any part of an expensive laptop. You can bend, stretch any of inner tabs to allow easy of installing and slide your surface studio laptop into it. I have a studio 2, and this fits great and looks professional when needed (i.e., pu leather black) or fits my quirks with sticker placements on it. My only issues, and to me it is minor, the laptop DOES NOT LAY FLAT in tablet mode. It leans back at a like a 70/80 degree angle but just about 2 inches above keyboard. Why is it not a problem to me? It is protected, feels great/sturdy, and looks great. I feel if I need a completely flat lay it takes less than 1 minute to remove case lay flat, use, and then just re-install case by sliding it back in and adjust elastic bands on back-stand to screen. I don't think this is a ding or return or even less quality it's just something that should be explicitly advertised and I would give this 5+ stars! It really is a great case. BUT, if something does slightly inhibits, even a little, a laptop's feature then the case should say it very clearly and maybe in a caution/note in bold. Because it helps with user expectations. So, things to expect below: 1. It installs EASY but the elastic bads are for back-stand to main screen NOT laptop bottom or sides. 2. Flaps & Elastic straps of case tops will make tablet top open at first, but that's due to case stiffness OoB. Before install, pull inner straps a few times & bend flap top back-forth a few times and this is not an an issue. At least for me. The case sturdy & stiffness is a good thing because then metal caffe patio tables, wood desks/tables, or various non-smooth surfaces won't be able to scratch the surface's aluminum shell. 3. HEAT IS NOT AN ISSUE WITH THIS CASE. It's bands, inner flaps and overall case do not cover or come near ventilation vents. This was a big deal to me as a productivity power using, leveraging it for 10+ hours some days for cloud-saas work or causal gaming. 4. THERE IS A SIDE LOOP FOR THE PEN. Don't overlook it, it's not a tag and it's tight enough for holding pen if you DO NOT STRETCH. Slid pen in by pushing through to keep tight. 5. TABLET MODE WILL NOT LAY COMPLETELY FLAT WHILE IN CASE, but it will lay enough to cover whole keyboard and mouse pad and angle enough to write/draw/read laying down. But it's important to set expectations so it's not a disappointment.

This case loosely fits the surface laptop studio, and it moves all over the place within the case. A benefit of the laptop studio is the ability to go flat, and this case takes away that functionality. Not good quality and not worth the money.

There weren't cases many that catered to the tilt screen of Surface Laptop Studio and this does, though not fully as the case is thick, so it doesn't allow the screen to be folded down fully. Something I can live with so that I'm able to still tilt the screen to the extent it allows.

This is about the most protective thing you can get for the Surface Laptop Studio. It is a nice, sturdy folio for about a year of daily handling, which I think is okay for most! I beat up my electronics, so the folio style is not really for me. That being said, I did use this every day and it very quickly fell apart. The part that keeps the top screen attached to the case comes apart very quickly. I think it is worth the price, but definitely not a permanent solution.

Nice enough case, but no pen loop, as the pictures show it has. It was one of the reasons I bought this case, the picture even shows a close-up, but it is not there. Sad.

The corner was ripped when opening the package. Other than that I love it.
