For me, this model was an impulse buy, but I’m glad I went for it. I usually collect 1/24 diecast U.S police cars, so this was well out of the ‘ball park’ for me. I do have a soft spot for these Mercedes G Class 4x4s, especially this version. I never have any reservations about buying Maisto models. The ‘candy red metallic’ paint finish is beautifully done. Nicely detailed interior, well made and aligned opening features, nicely detailed wheels, add to the attraction of the model for me. All in all a very nice model, well deserved five stars from me, nice one Maisto!

Bought this model as a present for Christmas. My grandson was really pleased with it. Looks great.

These model american automobiles are made by Maisto and are detailed representations of realvehicles, in this case a Mercedes 4x4 of 2019 vintage. The two front doors open and there is considerable realistic detail both inside and out. It has real rubber tyres for example. However, the collectibility of these vehicles is probably compromised by the fact that the scale of each model is slightly different. Some models are 1:24 scale, others are 1:25 or 1:26, possibly to ensure that they fit inside a standard size box for transportation to chinese export markets. Nevertheless, these are excellent models and cheap enough for children over three years old to play with.

My toy soldiers complained about the harsh ride due to the lack of suspension, as well as the lack of accessible stowage because the boot doesn't open; nor does the bonnet, making engine maintenance problematic (although, I doubt that there's much of a power-plant under there). As one toy soldier said, "Never, in the field of human playtime, has so much been given, by so few, for a toy car that doesn't have suspension!"

GREAT MODEL THAT IS HIGHLY AUTHENTIC AND WELL MADE. PRICE HAS INCREASED SEVERAL TIMES IN 2025 AND THAT IS "PRE CHINA TARIFFS" ! TRY TO BUY IT FOR $15 SINCE THEY FREQUENTLY LOWER THE PRICE. IT IS CURRENTLY $26 VERSUS THE PRICE I RECENTLY PAID OF $15 ------- NICE , BUT NOT WORTH $26 . . . . .

The model is generally good and made quite well. But on the rear fender on one side there is either rust under the paint, or the paint has gone badly. It looks ugly. You can get over it, but since it's a gift, I wanted to avoid such nuances.
