Daikin 1.5 Ton 5 Star Inverter Split AC (Copper, PM 2.5 Filter, MTKM50U, White)

Two technician persons where assigned well skilled & knowledged, polite and respectful behaviour directly from Daikin authorised 😃👍3. Installation was done carefully took about 1.5 hours4. Stabilizer bought by me separately (v guard vnd 400 150vac to 285vac Rs. 2600) that too was fitted.5. Remote does not come with battery - (small battery 2)6. The remote come with display backlight and also the remote buttons are radium glows in dark it comes with a gruve (drill a screwdriver in wall to hold it or buy an holder seperately)7. White cement 1kg (Rs 40) bought by me and technicians covered the wall hole neatly8. Did not buy a stand (Rs. 850) as the outside WALL was weak to hold the outdoor unit ( so placed it on a rain roof top by extending copper pipe and power cable)9. About 1.5 m of copper pipe was extended which costs RS. 850 per meter10. 4 cork Power cable was extended about 1.5 m too ( Rs. 150 per meter)11. 3 cork cable took about 6 meter ( 120 per meter)12. Installation 150013. Overall it costed me about 3840 for installation only (excluded stand + stabilizer )14. 42240 (card offer) + 3840 (installation)+2600 (stabilizer) = Rs. 48680 (total)15. Demo was given after testing 👍Usage experience: 1 dayThe bedroom is small but has a rooftop with tiles on which direct sunlight falls, the room has 2 windows fiber glassed , a balcony entrance the room gets very hot after 12:00 p.m. during this summer about 37 degreesThe diken 1.5 ton 5 star AC cools the room in this condition very fast both in power chill mode and normal mode but takes a starting time of 2 to 3 minutes before actually cooling the room once it starts cooling it chills room.Compare to daytime , night time cooling the room was way faster. If you set a manual speed of fan from 3 to 4 and 5 there is noise of fan but similar to a normal ceiling fan.Past 2 years we used a large metal cooler (more power consumption + water ) which which is best in itself cannot be compared with the AC but the cooling stayed in room for long time.Recommended by Daikin to use within 22 to 23 degrees for efficiency.👉Simple features easy to understand and best cooling satisfied with the service and product.Hope my review helps. Daikin is producing some quality ac's after it pumped up it's production capacity since it's opening it's opened it's biggest plant in tirupati near sri city. AC Cools very quickly in power chill mode. It doesn't have convertible option but gets converted automatically to reduce power consumption. Important thing to note is that DAIKIN AC of any models doesn't come with power cable from indoor unit to plug point like other AC.The power cable is connected to outdoor unit to plug point, which you have to buy from technician fully, it will require minimum 4-6 metres and will increase accordingly to the distance between outdoor unit and plug point.Product: within 20mins room it will spread the chilled cooling, where AC will start reducing the power usage capacity. After 30-60 minutes you can change it to eco mode and it would run on just 20% usage capacity which is just more than a ceiling fan usage. Expecting less power bill this time.

I have been using this AC for four months and most of the times the journey has been fraught with issues. I will list down the issues.1) Authorized service center guys installed it but did not seal the pipes properly and it resulted in refrigerant leakage. Ac started to flash fault code 3 and then they changed outdoor unit thermistor without checking the refrigerant level. Nonetheless the issue was rectified but it took them a month to do this in the peak summer season.2) A month further down the line, Indoor unit started making noise and it was hardly blowing any air. After two months and a handful of customer care requests, the unit was taken down and cleaned thoroughly twice, but in each instance the problem recurred. And since the line of air gets broken it directly impacts the cooling capabilities. It takes around 1 month for the coil to get completely clogged. They say it is dust which is clogging it. Now we are talking about a town where air quality is comparatively better. And there are other ACs operating in the House, they never got clogged. Why this one in particular? Sadly, there is no answer to that. Before this AC, a unit of Hitachi used to be there at the same place for last three years. Never encountered such an issue with that.3) They say each time this happens, indoor unit needs to be taken down and coils need to be cleaned after separating it from indoor unit and they will charge for that even in warranty. Last run down clean up was a month ago and I am facing the same problem again. Regretting the decision to purchase this model.4) Customer service is pathetic and Local ASMs are rude. Even after escalating the issues they won’t listen and will talk rubbish. They make statements like “Since your usage is high, this is happening” Well, I did not buy to stare at it 😊, “Go and escalate with whom so ever you want”. Really disappointing. It is the attitudes of ASMs which will frustrate you the most.5) At the time of writing this review, I am facing the same problem and there is no resolution in sight.Well, I am stuck with the product and don’t know what to do with it except regretting my decision to purchase it.

AC is amazing. People who are talking negative are the unlucky one's who got defaulted piece of machine but seriously AC is good but remote could be better we are in 2025 but they are still giving the outdated remote. Although remote has all the necessary features like screen light, illuminating buttons for dark etc.If you are thinking to buy then you can consider this oneHope you find it helpful
