It leaves my 3c/4a hair so conditioned and soft. I am not too certain about the bond strengthening claims though. My hair has experienced some reduced breakage but I think that is more due to how soft and manageable it leaves my hair during detangling. It smells so lux as well. I wish there was more product for the price though because I go through this so fast.

This product is EVERYTHING. I am seriously in love!!!! First the packaging is so adorable and looks great in my shower. Second, it smells amazing. Third, it WORKS so well. I put heat on my hair and have been trying to cut back. I want to repair my hair and this is what works! I have used it twice so far and my hair has never looked healthier or better. My hair is also so so soft. I color my hair so I try to find products that wont strip the color and this is perfect. It is totally safe for colored hair. I just purchased this after using the Amika SoulFood. I was about to place another order and stumbled on this one with equally great reviews. I saw that this mask was not just a deep penetrating moisturizer, but also for damaged hair. After a summer of balayage, I was like eh it can’t hurt! It’s glorious. I don’t know if it’s better than the SoulFood, as it’s too soon, but it’s definitely just as good! Provides great slip, and hair feels buttery soft after rinsing and drying. This product is amazing for your hair. It is super thick and you can just feel it doing its healing powers as soon as it touches your hair I suggest leaving it on for hours even overnight if your hair is damaged and you need a little repair mask, hence the title of the product. I damaged my hair due to lightning it and within two days of using this product just overnight I noticed my hair is so much healthier and my strands feel less brittle and just all around more healthy. I definitely recommend this product.

Wow! I was skeptical that a mask would work so quickly- but I am a convert! I had very dark hair naturally for years, but have spent the last several months going blonde to help with the never ending greys.. my hair was left feeling a lot dryer and a lot more brittle after all of the highlights.
