I'm not normally a beach person, since, like a certain memetic Star Wars character, I hate sand. But when it's time for Wienerfest*, I make myself tolerate it for a few hours and grumble through my grins at all those hundreds of Dachshunds doing zoomies in their little 🦈 life vests and Aloha shirts.Anyway, I saw a big blanket-style one at Costco, but thought it looked way too big and expensive; I wasn't planning to sit on it, just needed like a small tarp to put my stuff on and then sit on chairs on top of that. THIS IS EXACTLY THAT! A very thin tarp-like material with room for 2 humans (Dachshund estimate unavailable) and it's just some nice added protection between your stuff and the SAND and whatever might be living in it. Comes with stakes that keep it fairly stuck in there and a nice little pouch to keep it in. Just pick it up and shake it and that's it. And it's really cute.*It's not what you're thinking... Or maybe it is. Have you ever seen a massive gathering of wiener dogs at a dog beach? You can't not smile. Really. It's better than the best therapy. Come to the Dachs side. You know you waaaanna.

Absolutely perfect for the beach! Small enough folded up that it doesn’t take up a bunch of space but is pretty large spread out. Also having the stakes to hold it down is a lifesaver!

Love it. Love the larger size. I wish it had some kind of soft layer for using it at a park or other non-sandy places. But I probably missed that in the description, so that is my fault. The color is fun and not bright and obnoxious. Great for a park date. Spills? Easy! Bring some paper towels with you and dries up immediately!

Nice beach blanket. It's not supposed to be thick like a duvet cover, they are thin. And I'm not sure why people are leaving bad reviews about it being sand-proof. Sand-proof means sand won't stick to it, not that it will magically sink threw without letting more sand in? I think what some people are wanting is a sifter, not a blanket. But, if you have common sense and want a good BEACH BLANKET this is the one.

We used this for a beach blanket for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Very spacious, cute design and soft. No issues. Came with stakes for the corners which was a nice addition especially on breezy days. Folded back up nicely to fit in carrying bag. As with most, need to have a pretty decent fold for it to fit back in the bag but not a deal breaker. I could easily just put a rubberband around it to hold and store.

It’s basically a colorful tarp that is slightly more comfortable. The tab used to stake it down are not very strong and we had one rip pretty quick. But it is waterproof and does a great job of limiting sand in your area. Are far as holding it down, we typically bring plenty of stuff that helps hold it down. We still take it with us, cuz we have it, but there is probably better
