Requires a bit of force to properly insert hoses, once they are in they are solid, but this is the point of this item, to give you a solid fit without leaks. This product works very well.

It is a well built Dual hose adapter. But it is important to know that it does not fit in my Intex 2500gph pump hose. It is just a tiny tiny bit too big.

This was exactly what I needed to be able to detach the tubes running from the pool to my filter on my best way pool. Before buying this water would just pour out. I watched some videos online and found someone else who purchased this product. It has made it so much easier to work on my filter. Now I am able to shutoff the water draining from the pool and disconnect the hose attached to the filter without losing a ton of water from my pool. It is so convenient!
