St.Tropez Gradual Tan Classic Daily Firming Lotion Medium/Dark | Self Tanner

Don’t usually leave reviews unless it’s necessary. Firstly the 1 hour tan express stuff is thee most best tan I’ve ever used and I’ve pretty much tried them all. I’m a frequent tanner and love being able to see the guide colour, have a lovely base and not smell like a wotsit. I found that washing my face and hands daily, like you do, made the tan go rather patchy on my hands and for my face, the tan just comes off too quickly. HOWEVER I stumbled upon this gradual tan and after trying the new st tropez tan (ultra violet) I was skeptical about whether or not their other products would be any good because the ultra violet is by far their worst product yet! Don’t waste your money on it. It goes black on you and comes off after two washes. Doesn’t tan your legs either. Just don’t do it. I wanted something to maintain the tan with the express 1 hour version as I love it so much but needed to keep it going for longer rather than waiting for it too go all patchy and look uneven after a few baths/showers. THIS is an absolute must have! It smellls absolutely delightful, it stays on for a very long time even after washing face a few times, it’s soft, smells expensive, firms and prolongs your base tan. After one use my patchy hands were back to a lovely tan fading lovely into my already used tan that didn’t match the rest of me lol. It’s worth it.

St Tropez is my favourite brand when it comes to self-tanning, and this product definitely doesn't disappoint. If you like a dark, fast tan, then this is for you. If not, then opt for the lighter shade. The best thing about this product is the drying speed, my white bedsheets stay white and there's barely any of that nasty fragrance that leaves you smelling like a day-old biryani! They also do a lovely watermelon one which is lighter but equally as good. Just make sure you wash your hands really well after use.

This is the only fake tan I've found which I actually enjoy the smell of. It reminds me of watermelon flavoured slurpees I loved as a kid when visiting America. The lotion spreads on nice and evenly with no streaks and develops after 4-5 hours. I prefer doing mine over night, so I can then apply a second coat during the day. I noticed that it shows up more orangey on the hands, knees and knuckles, so it's best going lightly over those areas. Thankfully I didn't break out in spots on my back or chest with this product, like some fake tans do with me. Friends commented that I was looking really tanned (after I did 2 layers). 1 isn't enough on my skin. It's a nice natural colour but not very long lasting and needs top ups after every shower or bath. It doesn't leave any scale or patchy residue when wearing off. I wouldn't say the cream has a direct firming effect, although it does improve the appearance of leg veins and cellulite due creating a darker skin tone to disguise those things. I have since purchased more of this product, for myself and my mum.

Absolutely love St. Tropez Tan! I’ve tried so many self-tanners over the years, and St. Tropez is by far the best. The formula applies smoothly, blends easily, and gives a natural, streak‑free glow that looks like a real tan rather than an orange tint. It dries quickly, doesn’t feel sticky, and the colour develops evenly over time. I also love that it fades gradually without patchiness. My skin feels hydrated and looks radiant every time I use it. Definitely a go‑to product and well worth the investment!

This brand is so good . Apply three times clean your skin first and looks like you’ve arrived from hols lol awesome product. Once soaked in does not get on your cloths even white tops . Soaks in like a dream . Don’t need much just tiny amount . Like it excellent product .

It’s an okay gradual tan — the watermelon scent is pleasant and it moisturises nicely, but the colour payoff is quite light and takes longer than I expected to develop. Works if you want a subtle tint, but not the deepest glow. Good, just not great.

First timer here. I often get comments that I look pasty and pale, which doesn't make me feel great, so I thought I'd try this based on the reviews, and I'm pretty happy with it. I exfoliated the day before and I only used surgical gloves and let my fingers do the work of rubbing it in. It's a white cream that's smells great, I only did one application and it's definitely noticeable. I also noticed it's given me a bit of a glow too which is a nice bonus. I completely ignored the rules and applied it straight on my face so good job it's turned out fine! I don't recommend doing it when the weather is hot unless you have a fan to keep your face dry, otherwise I image it would easily become uneven from sweating. Also if you have chins, yes plural, it might be a good idea to lie down and tilt your head back and wait for the solution to completely dry. Regretully I didn't do this :-)

Smells lovely, nice even tan (most of the time) but hard to know how much to apply and where you’ve covered. Possibly best for users who only want to apply their arms / neck and while it’s not recommended it has a nice effect on the face. It also doesn’t feel sticky. It can come off on clothes / bed sheets even a day or so after application, so beware. St Tropez’s now-discontinued gradual shower tan was far more reliable, realistic, controllable in how it builds and easy to know where you’ve covered.

Es una buena crema, pero ojo que si eres clara de piel, tiñe mucho. Puse bastante cantidad en mi primera aplicación y me dio de resultado el moreno que podría tener después de todo el verano, o sea, bastante. Lo único que no me gusta es el olor a coco que tiene y que deja ciertos brillitos dorados, pero me la volvería a comprar.

Tinted one is so cool. Its black what was little shocking at first but its really works well and give instant tan. Will buy more. Perfect solution for instant great tan. Just make sure to use mitt while applying.

Llego rápido y en excelentes condiciones. Me encanta que sea una crema con autobronceado gradual. El olor no es nada feo , ni fuerte, como el de otros autobronceadores. Es gradual, así que tu vas viendo que tanto color quieres tener.. Soy muy blanca, y este me ayuda a tener un poco de color, para no verme tan transparente como gasparin 🤭🤭🤭

It goes on nicely, smells amazing and creates a nice subtle and natural looking tan after just one use. Used it before heading to the beach and I was very happy with it.

El color que deja es hermoso!!!! No te deja las manos manchadas, yo me las lavé las manos luego luego, me fascinó el resultado
