Increased my upper arm muscles 1/3 of an inch in one week!!!
I was looking for something to help my aging mother, and I found HMB. I decided to try it myself. It was almost 2 years ago. I was surprised to see the result so fast; I gained 1/3 of an inch in my upper arm muscles in one week. (At that time I was 63). I usually don't write reviews, but I'm writing this positive review after reading negative comments on Calcium form of HMB. (This product is CA form). There are two kinds of HMB - The calcium salt (CA) and free acid form (FA). Recently FA form of HMB is touted to have more bioavailability, but be aware, not enough human studies have been done to justify this. CA form of HMB has a long history and many many studies have done to prove the efficacy of it for both athletes and elderly. AND HMB (CA) has many more positive and impressive customer reviews. After stopping HMB, I've kept losing my muscles even after increasing my exercise, so I will start it again. I am interested in trying the powder form, so I may not start this brand at this point, but may come back to it later. Since I had a good experience, I thought I should write my positive review. Thanks for developing a fine product!

Good product, seeing results
So far so good! Started taking this product as I started my last vacation Diego plan (a basic plan, that I've done many times before). Definite improvements in losing weight and maintaining muscle mass.

I do intermittent fasting and sometimes I under eat..on those calorically restricted days this helps me prevent my muscles from breaking down..and I notice it helps me get through workouts with some more ease.

Excellent supplement - I take it daily and have for years.
I take this daily as a maintenance. Our bodies make this naturally. There is no danger or side-effects that I’ve encountered. Couple this with creatine and they make a great base for overall health and stamina.
