Crystal Trading 4-Piece Bed Sheet Set - Dobby Stripe - Microfiber - (Queen, Black)

I am very upset about these sheets. They DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT look like the pictures in any way, shape, form or fashion!!! They are a completely different color and material and they do not look new! They appear to have been previously laundered. I showed them to a relative and the first thing they said is that the sheets did not look new. These sheets are supposed to be a shiny satiny GOLD. Instead they are sunshine yellow with zero sheen at all. You can barely even see the stripes in them. The material does not feel satiny at all. Feels like cotton and very wrinkly cotton at that! There is nothing luxurious or hotel quality about these sheets as the packaging says. Just plain yellow cotton sheets you can probably find at any Wal-Mart or discount chain. The only difference is the sheets you get from Wal-Mart or wherever will be new which is a big leg up on these! I needed GOLD sheets, not yellow for an Indian themed bedroom. These will NOT cut it!If you really want gold sheets with a luxurious sheen, these are DEFINITELY not it! Don't waste your time or money like I did! This seller should be ashamed of themself for this blatant misrepresentation of their product. Will be returning as soon as possible!

I bought these sheets to replace the set I currently have covering a 10 inch matteress. The ones I have are the fairly cheap. They come in a bag made from the same color and material as the sheets themselves with a velcro flap on top. Those are just your basic, run-of-the-mill, frill-less sheets. Nothing fancy. They cover the 10 inch matteress and just barely get to the bottom. They physically fit the mattress and cover it, but whenever anyone sits on it, the sheets pop off a corner. Lay down and you end up with the fitted sheet around you. That is what I tried to fix by buying these sheets here. I wrote this part so I had something to compare to....Alright, now for the actual review of these sheets. I'll start with some of the things that I DID like. First thing was the price. That was the final deciding factor when I was shopping. I picked out a few and these had the best price based on what I was looking at. The material itself felt nice. It was quite smooth and fairly silky. They had a decent feel sticking my hand in the package. That's about all I can say that I actually liked. The flat sheet and pillow case were of a decent/standard size. Nothing to brag about.Now for what I did not like.... The color. Clearly this was the first thing that I noticed as it jumpped out as soon as soon as I opened the shipping box. These were not as described. The color does NOT match the picture and were not what I would consider "silver" by any means. They were as dark (if not darker) than the AmazonBasics dark grey microfiber set. They were almost exactly that color, but probably just a tad darker. I could barely even see the stripes. Silver should be lighter and, well, silver colored. Way too dark. Right off the bat, I was disappointed with my purchase. I figured I'd take a closer look anyway and opened the package.I took the sheets out and immediately noticed that the fitted sheet was not very deep at all. I brought it to the bed and compared them to what I already had. The fitted sheet seam (sides) on the Walmart set was about 2 inches LONGER than this set. They were only about 8 inches deep. They wouldn't even completely cover the side of the 10 inch mattress. They are NOT deep pocket sheets. The package (and web description) said it fit up to 15 inch beds, but that is just not true.These sheets are also extremely thin. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I can't see them lasting long term. Not to say they don't, but I can't see it happening. I'm sure they would be just fine for keeping on a guest bed or in a cottage; something that does not see constant use. That is not what I bought them for, however. They might be good if you have a vacation rental or something similar. At least they are cheap enough that if they get ruined, they can be thrown out without crying too much.I should mention that I wasn't expecting super-high, last 4 generations type quality If I wanted that kind of quality, I would have spent that kind of money. I was, however, expecting what the description said, and that is not what I got.

I cannot speak for most people, but when it comes to my bedding, I am very particular! I cannot honestly tell you how many sets of these sheets I have purchased, but I will write a review about my last two sets. These sheets are the softest light blue color ever. They are VERY soft, straight from the package. They do not wrinkle, and they fit your bed perfect! I have a queen size bed, and a few other sheets I have gotten from other sellers, barely fit my bed although they say they were queen size! These sheets fit like a glove with a little wiggle room.. meaning, the corner pockets fit beautifully. I highly recommend these sheets.. and I will be ordering more.

Update: March 2021 So far these are great for guests and after washing and drying them at least 4-5 times so far, they are holding up well, don’t appear to be pilling and do not wrinkle if removed promptly from the dryer! Maybe I will be ordering more! ♥️These will work fine as guest sheets, but I was a bit surprised at the thinness of them and don’t feel they would be good for daily use. I washed them after they arrived and they were removed promptly from the dryer (I used the low setting) and they were not wrinkled thankfully.After placing them on the bed, I feel the top sheet is smaller than anticipated and it doesn’t give you much coverage on the sides or much to tuck in on the bottom (twin sheets) and my guest mattress is only 12” thick. These will be fine for my occasional guests but I don’t plan to purchase more.

Overall I was expecting a little more from these sheets. I realize that $18 may seem cheap to some people but I have spent less on sheets on gotten the same type of quality. They are quite thin and the stripes are hardly noticeable, not the shinyness they show in the pictures. I will say though that they’re just sheets and ultimately what I was really looking for was just a couple of full sets to replace my old mismatched sheets with and so I don’t mind using them and they go under everything else on the bed anyway.

Update to original review...Three Star down to a one since I just realized I got a three piece set not a four piece which is what I ordered, was the wrong color and there are loose threads at the ends of the seams. Also thin. I'm not sure how long these will last. Somebody should really do something about whoever fulfills these orders.Original review...Would have given five stars if I had received the color silver that I ordered. I received a taupe color which I have decided to keep since it still blends with what I have. I would think about ordering another but would be afraid of getting the wrong color again. And I hate returns.

Soft yes, but sheets are almost transparent. Extremely thin.Picture shown does not match with real product. Amazing Photoshop work with contrast and saturation. You can barely see the stripes.Haven't seen the wrinkle free material yet. I paid back then $35 and that is the reason I decided to keep them.
