It makes the perfect time to draw out the fans to help reduce the temperatures, especially in sunny areas like Oklahoma, where you can get a good amount of sun without getting roasted if you have an excellent cooling companion. Previously, most fans I used were noisy, which can be annoying, especially when you want to focus on work or sleep. However, this changed after buying the Dreo Pilot Max tower fan, which is essentially noiseless. I got to use it in every part of the house, including the bedroom, even while the baby was asleep. It makes no sound whatsoever; I was curious how quiet it was compared to my previous fan, then I found out that the noise level on this floor fan reached 25 dB! Nowhere near my other fans with noise levels of 54 dB+.If you want to work your way to a fresh summer, you’ll not be disappointed with this purchase. During these hot days, as I am working in my home office, I could barely function for 6 hours straight before changing a T-shirt, vest, or getting something to cool me down. I would always waste much time because of this, which turned out to affect my family time. Pilot max allowed me to make up for so much wasted time. Personally am not good with fixing items involving screws. But when I purchased it, the manual gave a few easy steps that I followed. It just took me a few clicks here and there to get it all done. Similarly, cleaning it was a delight due to the removable grill, which makes cleaning it not only possible but a piece of cake. I bought this unit in July of 2023 after living with one for a week in a place I rented on Cape Cod. I loved the quiet, the focused breeze, and the small footprint. This unit was an upgrade from that one, the Cape Cod unit lacked the home automation interface.The unit served me well through the summer. I felt more comfort at night than using the ceiling fan, though on the hottest nights I used both. Towards the end of "fan season", it started making a small ticking sound while oscillating. I ignored it. In June of '24 it was making the sound again, and I contacted Support. They responded quickly and suggested that I do the cleaning procedure. I didn't get around to it. The sound was still not too severe; we have one ceiling fan that makes more noise.With the start of fan season 2025, I decided to address the issue again by doing the cleaning procedure, but it didn't help. I reopened the issue with support. Tina was on the case, again responsive as before. After watching/listening to the video I sent her, she quickly began the process of sending me a replacement unit.

I needed a new tower fan for my hallway because my old one was making weird noises as it rotated. Probably because I was constantly running into it....oops. What really sold me on this one is the 120 degrees it oscillates. I have an oddly set up apartment and this will make such a huge difference with pushing air into more rooms for me this summer. And as I bought a Dreo fan last year for my living room and loved it so much, this was a no brainer to get another one from them. Even though it's quite expensive. But just like my first one, it pushes the air amazingly far and is super quiet. These fans seem to be worth the cost. If I had one complaint it's that in order to adjust the oscillation you must download the app, you can't do it on the fan itself. I didn't need nor want a smart fan so this was just annoying for me. Not enough to take away a star, but this seems like a function that could have been on the fan itself.
