I bought this to use as a window fan. I’ve went through 2 actual window fans this year and I NEED. MORE. AIRFLOW. I have a gaming computer in my small bedroom, you can’t escape the laws of thermodynamics, it gets HOT after a while. So I got this HURRICANE floor fan, stuck it in my window, and got rolled pvc liner that goes underneath showers and tile to make it waterproof and create a seal. I cut a hole in the pvc slightly smaller than the fan and stretched it over, and created a flap so I can close it if it’s too warm outside. Let’s talk about the LUDICROUS airflow and LUDICROUS noise. It’s got 3 settings. It’s got a knob with three settings. 1 being the lowest airflow, 3 the highest. 1 lowest- I have not needed to use anything more than this to cool my room. Even on the lowest setting, it’s a hurricane. So much airflow, louder than most fans, but I can still hear well enough that I don’t hear it over my headphones. 2 medium- It’s like sticking your head in the back of a 747 engine. It’s loud as a jet engine. Once again, I don’t care I need LUDICROUS airflow. That’s why I bought this fan. 3 high- It’s creates a continuous blast wave of air, and like a high explosive bomb, it will knock light objects over on my table, invest in paper weights. It’s also loud as a blast wave. You’d have to talk uncomfortably loud to have a conversation in a small room to hear each other. Once again, I NEED LUDICROUS AIRFLOW, I. DON’T. CARE. IF. IT’S. LOUD. There are bladeless fans that are much quieter, but it’s impossible for them to move as much air as this Hurricane fan. It’s got huge blades, they moves a LUDICROUS amount of air, and yeah, it creates LUDICROUS noise on medium and high. I still don’t care. This is the best fan I have ever purchased. I just bought it, so I can’t say how long it will last. But the noise comes from the airflow only, it doesn’t vibrate or spin in an unintended funky way. So yeah, love this fan. 5 stars, would buy again as long as it lasts a decent amount of time.

I picked up the Hurricane Classic Floor Box Fan for a small mining farm I have and was honestly impressed with how solid it feels. A lot of box fans tend to shake or rattle when you crank them up to the highest setting, but this one stays steady and stable the whole time. No wobbling, no random noises, just smooth and powerful airflow. The fan pushes a good amount of air, cools down a room fast, and feels well built for the price. Setup was basically just unboxing it and plugging it in, and it hasn’t given me a single issue. Overall, if you want a simple, reliable fan that doesn’t dance across the floor on high speed, this one does the job perfectly. No complaints from me.

This fan is everything that is advertised. The fan is extremely powerful and will move a ton of air on all three settings. The fan itself will make some noise but it is strictly from air movement and not from rattling or vibration. Great quality fan that comes ready to go directly out of the box. Highly recommend this fan to anyone that is wanting a high quality fan that will produce some air noise and will move a ton of air around the room.

Lots of wind created, very loud. But it works. Setting one pushes enough air to keep it cool. Have never went higher than 1, haven’t needed to.

A nice sturdy fan, lightweight but powerful! Easy to flip out its little feet and easy to stand up in place. Provides a nice cool breeze, my house is usually at 66 degrees but my room is always a little cooler because of the air flow. Also provides great white noise!

We love these fans! Shipped fast, Great deal on the 2 pack which I highly recommend, all 3 settings serve their intended purposes, perfect cord length since they were on each side of our bed on top of the corner lamp end tables, gets a little loud, but for us we appreciate the white noise, we still watch TV with them both on full blast most of the time, Great price on the warranty too which also highly recommend buying!, before we biught the fans, we researched online and couldn't find any recalls on this model so that was a big plus too! Once you've adjusted the knob to change your settings a several times it won't be an issue to quickly do so later on. Maybe the thinking was, if you're repositioning your fan often, or have it directly facing you about arms length or so (because they blow an extremely wide range of air) it would make easy to toggle your fan's settings knob without having to feel around on top like having to do with most floor fans. Great fan, very powerful and very loud. We use it in our bedroom while sleeping. We considered returning it due to the noise level but missed our return window. It works great , puts out lots of powerful air. Love the controller and handle

I have a tower fan and wanted to find something with more power. This is not it. Even at its highest setting it does not move much air. And it is LOUD. Box fans tend to be loud. One nice feature of this fan it has feet on the base that stablize it and stop it from tipping over.
