I used this on my garage door that faces south in southern Florida. I gently scrubbed off the worst of the oxidation with a household scrub brush, cleaned the door thoroughly with the cleaner provided and then just wiped on the coating. I’m so happy with my garage door. It looks like new. My only complaint is the 16-page instruction book that makes the work sound a bit intimidating. I called Everbrite and the woman there was very helpful and reassuring that I wasn’t going to have an ugly garage door when I was done. Love this product. I also used it on an old metal table and some old light fixtures as well.

Really big difference. Made my faded 35 year old garage doors look brand new! Only comment to help others… I’d wear a proper respirator when applying it. I wore a n95 and that wasn't enough.

Really brought my powder coated outdoor furniture back to life. Elbow grease required but simple to use.

It took me 2 days to clean and then pre wash the door. Lots of contaminants and adhesive to remove. Once clean, I used a very thick latex gloves because the ones the kit came with melted. I quickly found that if I try to stretch the product it effected, and in some cases removed small spots of paint. There was plenty to do the huge door. I Put it on thick enough to move smoothly but not so much as to drip. Drips are hard to go over and clean up once they start drying. Do not put on plastic it weakens and in some cases melts it. I am very satisfied with the final appearance. Just don’t go over it with a microscope. On a 30+ year old door it’s not going to be perfect.
