Reusable Ice Pack for Rotator Cuff Injuries - Shoulder Cold Therapy Wrap for Sports Injuries, Hot and Cold Brace for Left or Right Shoulder

I have recurring shoulder issues. Had rotator cuff surgery on the right side but now I'm using this to relieve what I hope is only bursitis in my left shoulder. I have had a cortisone shot too, so I can't give the icing all the credit for pain relief, but following doctor's orders and continuing to ice to help relieve any remaining inflammation in the shoulder joint. From an appliance perspective, this thing is great because its configuration is flexible (can use for either shoulder and has two sides, one 'colder' than the other). Plus, you can beat the fit. The secure velcro straps keep things nice and secure for my 20-min icing sessions (at least twice a day). I can't speak to its longevity, but from what I can tell from the construction, I would say it will last for some time. It comes with a plastic bag for storage in the freezer and that seems to be holding up fairly well too. I am pleased with the product and would recommend. The shoulder is an awkward place to apply ice to for 20-min's at a time without some assistance to keep the "ice in place". That's where this gizmo shines.

I cannot say enough positive and reassuring reviews for this machine !!! The ease of operation is fabulous. My husband recently had total rotator cuff surgery and began using this machine the day OF surgery, and it has consequently helped tremendously each day and every day. I’m certain it is helping to make his recovery more comfortable! As his wife and caregiver, I suggest using bagged ice as well as freezing blocks of ice (in yogurt containers, etc.) that keep the temperature lower for a longer period of time. I also had direct contact with the seller…who was and is kind enough to periodically ‘check-in’ with us!! Excellent product! I definitely recommend and totally endorse it!!!

This works pretty well. Cold lasts a good long time. Just wish it were a little more maliable. Feels a little stiff and just slightly hard to wrap around the shoulder and upper arm. Straps are great. Once it warms up its easier to wrap.

I had my shoulder replaced. This item is pretty heavy so couldn’t use for several weeks after surgery. Hard to get in place on your own & didn’t hit the right areas. Would probably be good for sore muscles.

It’s been so hot that just leaving this out in the a/c keeps it cool enough to help with my chronic rotator cuff syndrome It happens to be the most comfortable device I’ve gotten so far. I use the fuzzy part if it’s been frozen and the non fuzzy part if it’s just from fridge or room temp. I use it on my neck and other parts of my body that might benefit from cold therapy!! Win win win!!

This is awesome for after surgery when you have to have ice on it all the time for the first few days. Trying to sleep with a bunch of little ice packs strategically places is next to impossible, but the straps really helped to keep this right where I needed it. It's a little heavy (for after surgery recovery) but not unbearable. I also love that the one side is soft because then I don't have to have a ton of layers between it and my shoulder.

I thought this would be a great solution to keeping me mobile while I ice after rotator cuff surgery. Unfortunately, the gel drains into the arm band and almost none of it stays in the shoulder area where I need the cold therapy. It's also too stiff to use if it's been in the freezer longer than 3-4 hours. And the amount of water from condensation is surprising; I'm soaked when I take it off if I use the nylon side against my skin--or I have to dry the sleeve with a towel that side is on the outside. Pass on this and get a Chattanooga ColPac as used by my physical therapist!
