Does not have IV compatibility
I'm in my final quarter of nursing school, and I got this book SPECIFICALLY for IV drug compatibility checks for prep clinicals. I go to use it and every drug says something like, "compatibility not thoroughly tested with other medications, treat as incompatible unless pharmacy notes otherwise." That is so useless, at least list the know compatible medications, obviously there won't be every single med on there. Even the Davis' drug guide gives a short list of compatibilities, it was upsetting to see that the book dedicated to IV meds made this lazy move. Other than that it is ok for checking safe dosing ranges and dilutions, but usually that info is on the MAR.

very helpful
Easy to find information, and informative. I purchased this to find IV compatibility and it does provide that information. There are charts for different IV fluids and what those are compatible with. I purchased this to help during RN school.
