Strong adhesive !
Other more expensive name brands like scar away falls off after a shower and become useless. This brand stuck on after many showers. It's been over 4 weeks now and it's still there.I used it on 2 scars, one is a bandaid size scar that I had to cut to size. That one, I peeled off and rinsed with cold water and let it dry and was able to reuse it. Note, don't use it as a bandaid. My mistake, I used it before a bad cut healed and it left a scar that normally would have been just a scab or not noticable if I used a bandaid. Now I'm using it to try to reduce that scar. The second one I'm using it on a very old (over 5 year old) large surgery scar. I'm happy that I was able to tear off 2 pads that covered the scar completly. Others said these old scars will take months to reduce, but I can feel the bump getting smaller already after 4 weeks. I'm not expecting it to completely disappear but just smooth out a bit. So fingers crossed. Also, as a secondary use, I used the old tapes a reuseable packaging tape. It really hold up like a normal tape on packages or boxes that don't have a latch, but is easier to remove and reuseable after a simple cold rise. I tape reminder notes on the outside of my Mac and it's stonger than post its. Or as a cover for my Mac camera for ensure privacy. So keep your tape backing and you can rinse off old tapes and re-use them for things you want to tape temporary.

Kelinul Silicone Scar Tape works well
My Dermatologist surgery was deep in the skin layers and also a wide football shape, in order to successfully remove enough tissue. I imagined the healing process would be extensive because the open wound area was wide. For the first 3 weeks a compression bandage was used to insure the stitches could hold the gap closed. The sutures just weren’t quite enough to hold so there needed to be a few areas closed better. The doctor reinforced the sutures wound closure with medical grade tape for 5 days. After about 4-5 weeks the stitches were removed and the scar looked rough like football stitching. It was recommended to use a silicone scar tape, so after researching I decided on the “Kelinul” brand. It has been a great aid to use this brand of silicone tape because over another month the rough scar became smoother and flatter. The roughness to the scar has calmed down and in time it looks like it won’t be that noticeable. Something that originally may have been a keloid scar looks good after 2.5 months. Also you can leave it on for 5 to 7 days and take a shower without it falling off. You can remove the Kelinul scar tape every 2-3 days to clean the wound. The scar tape can be cleaned then put back & it sticks pretty well, so you can keep using it for over a week. Just keep everything clean. The Kelinul Scar tape has helped very much in the post surgery stage because it is so much easier to use than gauze with a different type of adhesive tape I originally tried. I will now always keep this in my home medical kit.

Can't believe it worked!
I have difficult skin that often "overreacts" when I get a cut and it turns into a lump rather than healing nice and flat. I had an old injury at the inner crease of the elbow that was particularly unattractive. It would get dry and itch and then I would scratch it and basically it was a lumpy scar that looked various degrees of awful for the last 3 or more years. Saw this silicone tape and for less than $20 I thought, "What do I have to loose?...excepts a lumpy scar". The tape is light weight and pale beige in color. I am white with a good tan and it matched my skin tone perfectly so it was not very noticeable. It is semi transparent so I don't know if the match would be as nice on darker skin but I feel at least some of my natural skin tones did show through. It's very comfortable - I was unaware of it unless I was exercising as sweat will make it come off. You can remove the tape before exercising or showering and reapply it to dry skin with no ill effects. I wore it 24/7 (except for showers) without any warm up period and had no problems. Within 2 weeks I was seeing improvement. Within 2 months the area was completely flattened and the only evidence of the scar was the lack of a suntan in that area....and this was a years old scar! Glad I gave it a try!

Appears to be working
I was originally skeptical but was amazed at how the Kelinul tape is working. I had open heart surgery 7 weeks ago and have a large 8.5 inch scar down the center of my chest from the sternum incision. I had heard about the usage of silicone tape to help reduce scars so I decided to give it a try. I've been using it now for about 2 or 3 weeks and the scar already looks visibly much better. There was one portion of the scar that became a raised and darkened keloid and after 2 days of usage, the keloid had already shrunk in size, was not as raised, and became lighter in color. Beside looks, I was concerned about the keloid area because I'm hoping to get back to surfing, which involves lying on your chest on the board, in which case a raised keloid would most likely prove uncomfortable. Another good thing about this tape is that it is reusable. Following instructions, after having it on for the day, you can simply rinse and dry it off to reuse the next day, and the adhesion is just as good as the day before. I've not yet used it for the minimum 1.5 months but I can already see the positive results of the Kelinul silicone tape and will continue to use it, for sure. I would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.
