Casio quality, Casio engineering, Casio robustness. As a Casio aficionado since 1982, anyone else is chasing ego and BS. Other watches have faded and failed but my Casios have travelled the world, met interesting people and killed them with reliability. I have swapped Casios for safe passage and friendship. My new favourite dress watch and daily workhorse. Tired of daily charging? Go old school reliable - Casio is King! 5* from me.

A classic watch from casio which has numerous reviews on its price point and quality to back up what extreme value you get . Many people say the resin strap is poor however it's not. It's comfortable and does not irritate or nip skin. Many options for a steel bracelet if you prefer . The only minor gripe I have although on price point it's not really worth mentioning is the mineral crystal . I will change mine for a sapphire crystal eventually as it's more hard wearing and has a better clarity looking at the watch face. This is my preference only and there is nothing wrong with the mineral crystal fitted.

Really like the price/quality. Nice size on the wrist. Great wee watch. Punches above it's weight which is why I got it. Nice to now be a part of the Duro gang.

Really, what’s not to like here? Ok, it’s a quartz and not an automatic, all the better for a £50 no nonsense 200m diver. It’s not got a super hard sapphire crystal, only mineral glass, but then so has a £350 Seiko Turtle or Samurai, or a Citizen Promaster. The aluminium bezel lines up great (take note, Seiko!) with next to no back play or looseness, the chapter ring is perfectly aligned (again, this is how it done, Seiko!) while the second hand hits all 60 of it’s second markers bang on. The sword and arrow style hands are clear an distinct, without looking like they are copying any another brands look. The polishing and finishing on the case far exceeds the expected standard for a £50 watch, finished as well or better than a £200 Orient Kamasu. The rubber strap is probably the weakest link here, it does its job and is reasonably comfortable, it’s just a bit ‘meh’. Lugs are a standard 22mm, so the world is your oyster for trying out new straps - sailcloth, leather or even metal. I swap between a black sailcloth with blue stitching for casual wear and a Zuludiver straight link oyster bracelet for smartening it up. So does it have any other downsides? Well it is a fairly big watch at 43mm diameter and might not wear too well on a wrist smaller than 6.5”. The lug to lug distance of 49mm and the nice downturn on those lugs certainly help with the wear-ability though. While I’m on the subject of lugs, it would have been nice to have seen them drilled to help with strap changes. Also, the lume is at best average. The hands and bezel lume pip do a so-so job, but the indices drop off quickly and are gone after 10 mins. Final moan, the date window and numerals could be a touch bigger to aid with legibility. To summarise, this is a handsome, extremely well built 200m dive watch for circa £50. If you can get over that it’s quartz with a ticking second hand and has Casio on the dial, you’ll be over the moon with this on your wrist for just 50 quid.

The perfect budget dive watch. The build quality is excellent and it wears comfortably and looks purposeful. Highly recommended.

I prefer a watch I can check at a glance even in dim light. This Casio is great. It's easy to set, comfortable to wear, and I'm finding it accurate to within 3 or 4 seconds over a week. The luminosity is OK, not terrible, not great. The finish of the watch is surprisingly very good indeed, actually faultless. I'm very pleased I bought it. It's a great deal. Edit: the watch has been on my wrist for a month now since being received and reset and has settled in. It is accurate to within one second per month. 1 second! It's more accurate than my quartz LCD watches and very nearly as accurate as NTP synchronised clocks on PC & mobile. I am a bit amazed!

Sono da sempre appassionato di OROLOGI e negli anni la mia collezione, che va da orologi di inizio 900 agli attuali moderni smartwatch, oramai ha superato i 40 pezzi, una parte è dedicata ai classici ed intramontabili cronografi. Mi è stato chiesto di acquistare 2 OROLOGI CASIO nel modello MDV-107-1A1VEF per due differenti regali e li ho ordinati da Amazon tra quelli proposti da SARL PONERA. L'orologio arriva nella sua pratica confezione originale CASIO, accompagnato da delle istruzioni. Non appena rimosso dalla scatola il tutto ho potuto apprezzare la ABITUALE QUALITA' progettuale e costruttiva del marchio, con la scelta di un mix di materiali, acciaio e silicone che mi ha convinto per realizzare un cronografo dallo stile sportivo ma dalla linea classica intramontabile. La cura e solidità dei materiali della CASSA in acciaio è risultata dal primo momento buona, in linea con quello che ho trovato essere un apprezzabile rapporto prezzo/qualità per un cronografo dello storico marchio che trovo riesce egregiamente a fare l'occhiolino a marche anche più costose. Il DESIGN dell'orologio è piuttosto sportivo ma senza esasperazione e per i mie gusti anche molto gradevole, con una cassa in acciaio da 50 mm di diametro dalla stampo che risulta preciso, abbinato ad un CINTURINO in silicone sufficientemente spesso da 22 mm, che alleggerisce molto la linea complessiva del cronografo che ha comunque un suo carattere e personalità. Il produttore ha scelto per questo cronografo un QUADRANTE che mi è piaciuto per la luminosità e lucentezza che trasmette, discretamente leggibile in qualunque condizione luminosa, con i TASTO ad ore 3 che è sufficientemente morbido e comfortevole nel movimento ed attiva subito le funzioni dell'orologio, ovvero REGOLAZIONE dell'ora e della DATA, oltre ad una IMPERMEABILITA' dichiarata di 200 metri, 20 bar. Le DIMENSIONI dell'orologio sono medio/grandi, non esagerate se vado a confrontarlo con altri cronografi che posseggo e con i i suoi 44 mm di diametro che raggiunge ai 50 nel punto più largo trovo che stia bene anche su un POLSO non troppo grande. Anche il CINTURINO è di buona qualità, sufficientemente morbido nonostante lo spessore e risulta comfortevole al polso, per un abbinamento con l'acciaio della cassa che mi ha convinto. In fase di utilizzo ho apprezzato un PESO complessivamente contenuto che non risulta eccessivo neppure per una stagione estiva, grazie proprio alla tipologia del cinturino che ne migliora la portabilità per tutto il giorno. Le LANCETTE hanno un movimento che ho trovato fluido e regolare, sia quella principale dei secondi, come dei minuti ed ore, non ho rilevato impuntamenti di alcun genere. Anche la GHIERA scura, l'elemento che movimenta maggiormente il quadrante, è un elemento MOBILE unidirezionale quindi non fisso come altri modelli economici e ruota con sufficiente efficienza e regolarità, senza scatti imprecisi od impuntamenti. Anche il DATARIO ad ore 3 trovo che sia di una dimensione nella norma, ben leggibile con numeri neri su fondo bianco, con una regolazione del numero fluida con l'abituale movimento del tasto a vite sempre ad ore 3. Nel complesso mi sento quindi di promuovere questo cronografo CASIO per le buone sensazioni che mi ha trasmesso, un orologio di apprezzabile qualità che non sfigura difronte a marche costose. Per ciò che riguarda il PREZZO di 79.47 euro a cui ho acquistato l'orologio a metà agosto 2025, valuto sia equilibrato per le sue caratteristiche, spedito e consegnato con la abituale efficienza da parte di Amazon grazie al servizio Prime. Mi auguro che questa recensione possa essere di aiuto e se avete dubbi o quesiti non esitate a chiedere.

Det finns saker som kunde förbättras på klockan, som att datumet är svårläst i dåligt ljus. Den är väldigt fint utförd och går väldigt bra. Den har fortat sig 1 sekund på en vecka. Med tanke på priset är den extremt prisvärd. 200 meter WR är väldigt bra och praktiskt för en sportklocka.
