Not TRUE black candles
I purchased these with the assumption that they were BLACK CANDLES, as described. These are actually WHITE CANDLES with a black coating. Needless to say, I’m pretty disappointed. It has 2 stars because, well, they still provide light like candles tend to do.

Decent
Decent quality, but these are only dipped in black wax - there is a white in the middle. They are not black all throughout which may not matter to everyone.These were not shipped carefully (no bubble wrap and not in a box - only in thin plastic bag) and one was broken in half. Honestly this is probably an Amazon problem and not Hyoola's fault though.

Great long lasting slow clean burning candles!
These are really great high quality candles that burn nice and slowly but cleanly!!!!!!! I will def buy them again and keep these on hand for regular energy clearings and cleansing.

Not What I expected
I’m dissatisfied with my purchase I expected 100% black candle not a white candle painted black 🤦🏼♀️ if you are looking for a 100% all black candle this is not for you

Black candles
Sadly my candles arrived broken.

White candles dipped in black wax. I melted these in a pot on the stove for pouring and they melted well, but the end result was grey, not black. My use was for utility (sealing seams/cracks inside a wood box) rather than aesthetics, but if I'd wanted pure black I'd be MAD.

Wanted solid black candles they're not.
I ordered these because I wanted solid black candles, these are not that. They are white candles dipped in black wax.

This is fraud. The candles are actually white with a few coatings of black wax.

Broken candles are worthless
Two of the candles were broken in half upon opening the packaging. The packaging did not seem damaged or mishandled. Disappointing. Can’t recommend.

Pretty good quality but not black candles they’re black covered white candles so definitely not what we were wanting should have read all these reviews
