Grows well in Zone 8B
Planted these in 15gal bags about 1 May when the weather was cool. Took about two weeks for them to show but as the weather has warmed they have put on considerable growth and are now starting to bloom the end of June. I did get some wind damage so I'll need to provide sheep fence around the bags where appropriate for additional support. The protected bags did not sustain damage. Looking forward to a good crop when they are ready. So far I haven't had disease problems and I have't seen any potatoe beetles. A few Lady Bird beetles have taken up residence but I haven't seen any aphids. Depending on the size of the crop I will repurchase again. I will test the crop though to determine if I can plant some as a potential crop. These were planted directed into organic mulch ammended with additional fertilizer.

Almost a little too productive!
When I ordered these, I didn't know anything about growing sweet potatoes. I was later told that they can't be grown in WI. This has definitely been a learning curve, and a fun experiment for my kids though. The potatoes arrived in amazing shape. I cut them in half and put them in some wet dirt inside our shed. They started growing slips pretty quickly. I ended up with 75 healthy slips that I planted, before having to give up because I'm out of garden space. I never thought 2lbs of seed potatoes would be that productive! Now I have a few months to figure out how to cure them and what to do with them all. We've had rain almost every day, so forgive the weedy garden. It's a work in progress.

Did Not Germinate
Several of them were rotten and none of them germinated. That is, they did not grow and I am an excellent gardener who grows all types of things. If the seller would send more I would try again.

They are growing!
I was hesitant to order these for our fall garden, but they 3 of the four are growing well. One didn't make it. I'm pleased as of right now. We are excited to see the true results of the amount and size of the potatoes produced. We should find out right before our first freeze.

seem really hardy
giving 5 stars because of my own neglect --i received on time but put aside and forgot them --when i finally opened the package half (in 2 separate packages) were just mush and the other half had many that were beginning to rot so i saved as many as i could and followed the instructions and now have a few plants that are growing tall and doing well--no fault of the seller or product in the loss my bad completely will be ordering more a bit later when summer ends---again don't expect to set them aside still packaged very long (i forgot them for about 2 weeks and was surprised that ANY survived) they will germinate and then spoil the ones i did plant germinated quickly and are doing great

Yield was small with small potatoes
On a positive the tubers grew. The value was overall satisfactory. I doubled my 2#, but I feel there should have been more than 2 tiny potatoes per plant.
