I can confirm that this unit will work with an M1 MacBook Pro as well as with a MacBook Air (early 2015). Be aware that you will need to download the proper driver for the device. Linking comes in packaging or go to downloads on the Wavlink site. I did notice some screen ping pong when I plugged in or remove a USB A webcam. Had to restart to get it working again on the Intel MacBook Air. I am using @ 1080p but this unit can output a 2k and 4k signal if you have a monitor that will accept this larger signals. Totally worth the price to get (3) screens on Mac products!

This was the 2nd product I tried when attempting to extend my desktop into two separate monitors. This adapter worked perfectly. I just plugged it into my laptop's USB SS port and both HDMI cables into it and it was easy to set up my displays to extend. The picture is pretty clear. One HDMI port says 2K and one says 4K but I can't tell the difference. However, occasionally there's some slight refresh issues. I had to make sure both monitors were on 60mhz and that seems to have cleared it up. Good product!

I bought a new "all in one" PC (not gonna mention the name) with the intention of connecting my two monitors to it to create a 3-screen panoramic view. The new PC had only two HDMI ports and it should have been trivial to connect everything up. But nooo... it seemed that only one of the monitors at a time would function. After hours of experimentation with no success I discovered that one of the PC's HDMI ports was one-way only and could not communicate with either monitor. The only solution was to buy an expensive docking station with the correct HDMI ports, or a simple dongle that would connect an HDMI cable to a USB port. I researched many of these on Amazon, and selected the Wavelink based on other reviews. Worked perfectly with no hitches and continues to work flawlessly.

Does the job, but I have to unplug and re-plug it a couple of times a day. The monitor just freezes out of nowhere, and a quick disconnect/reconnect or the usb fixes it every time. I’ve tried a different monitor and it does the same thing. It’s just an inconvenience, but no inconvenience would be 5 stars

after alot of products that didnt work. this product was able to extend my macs desktop to 2 monitors. Can only do one at 2k which annoyed me. had to pair this with the apple brand usb/usbc/hdmi adapter to get 2 screens at 2k. I could of got away with a single dongle since im not using it like it was designed. But can say it certainly displayed 2k on one monitor at 1080p on the other. did its job and did it well. would recommend this as a low cost option if your looking for a 2k/1080p setup on yer mac. I’m still using this on my docked mac to this day. still no issues 2 month later with daily use.

I paid $45 for this and it doesn’t even work when two cables are connected. This is a piece of crap and a complete waste of money. I want my money back immediately—fix this, give me my money back.

All I wanted was something that would project my laptop onto 2 displays. I wanted to be able to extend the view across both monitors (not just duplicate) and this USB adapter did the trick. May just be me but I found it confusing wading through all the different types of adapters available. Glad I landed on this one - works perfectly well, no downloads required. Simply plug my 2 monitors (HDMI) into the adapter, and the adapter (USB) into my laptop.

Cumpre o que promete, fácil de instalar e usar. Uso em meu Nitro 5 onde seu USB-C não é compatível com monitor, logo precisei deste adaptador para usar em meu USB 3.0 e estou muito satisfeito. Não gastem dinheiro comprando versões mais baratas ou similares. É um investimento que resolve sem dores de cabeça.
