Not as magical as some of the other customers claimed, but it is by far the best pet urine cleaner I've found. It's most effective when the stain is fresh, less effective on old stains.

We've bought this product before, but for some reason, this time it didn't seem to be effective. Several years ago we fostered cats of all breeds/ages/sizes so naturally there were accidents in need of a good cleaning solution. At that time, this fit the bill- we purchased several bottles of this stuff from our local pet store, but when I went back recently, they no longer carried this product. Naturally, I was delighted to find it on Amazon! We now have a small dog, and when she started having accidents I remembered how well this stuff worked so I bought it again. Now, I'm not sure if it works better on cat stains, and maybe that's why it didn't seem effective or if they changed the formula (it used to have a distinct spearmint-wintergreen smell that wasn't as obvious this time) but it didn't do much of anything for the stain (ie: under a blacklight, not naked eye, per se) or the smell (which is what we were really wanting to remove) hence the two star rating.

My strickly indoor cat started peeing in my computer room because he could see the neighbor cats outside roaming around & they like to come up to my computer room window where my cat likes to look out the window & it would make him mad. So I guess he started peeing on the floor right under the window to try & mark his teritory. Well, the room started stinking really bad. So bad that I had to leave the door shut to the room all the time because and I shut my A/C vent in the room & opened the windows!!! It was like that for 3 months. Then I used this product & the room does not smell anymore:-) Using a black light to find the pee stain was really helpful.

My ailing cat (and elderly dog) found the one carpet in my house to use as their bathroom. Not only did this Get Serious completely remove the odor, it also was a great carpet cleaner. After using it as a spot cleaner, I decided to use it in a rented commercial carpet cleaner and Wow! The carpet looked - and smelled- like new. Because the odor was really completely removed (and, believe me, I got on the floor and stuck my nose right into the carpet), the problem went away.

This is the very best product that I have ever used to remove pet stains and odors. It truly does remove old yellow stains. It has saved some very expensive carpets for me. I am never without a bottle of Get Serious.

This really works well on odors. I used it to clean up a pet accident. I had already tried Simple Solutions and the odor remained in the carpet. After using Get Serious, the odor was gone. Will definitely buy more.

I ordered the regular Get Serious (not the one for cats). It is the best eliminator of dog pee/poop smells in carpet that I have ever found. It's not exactly cheap but it's worth it.
