Item is very easy to install (just tighten the bolts), but if you want to add it professionally to the muffle (like a did) grind some holes for the clips to hold in to the muffle, plus add some muffle wrap to seal any air leaks and tighten the bolts. Or just weld the tip.In conclusion you have 3 options: install it by just tightening the bolts, weld the item, or grind and wrap the tip to seal any air leaks. I recommend the last one because welding can damage the tip, and by just grinding the muffle to secure the clips of bolts will be available in the future when i replace the muffle again : ). Re using top quality items while preserving their traits.I recommend this product, but take your time while installing it to make sure its length is the desired one before any welding, grinding, or tightening the bolts. Great price and excellent quality product.

I bought a pair of these tips because they had the look I wanted...circular and slanted and just a little bgger than my exhaust pipe. The plan was to weld two together for a "dual-exhaust look". The only issue I had was the clamps went across the pipe rather than along it so they did not clamp as well as they could have. Secondly, the two clamps were not directly opposite each other then I bolted them side to side. This caused a slight off centered look when viewed from the side...but this isn't a big issue since it's three-quarter covered by the bumper. All in all I am happy with it though. Definitely recommended as it is not that expensive and looks great!

I was looking for something simple to add to the end of some standard piping off of a Dynomax cat-back. This worked perfect. I would recommend throwing the clamping system out. Instead, you could tack weld the tip on or simply use the holes, mark your holes, predrill into your existing piping, and fasten the tip on with some small, stainless sheet metal screws and some red thread lock.My piping is 2" O.D. and this slipped right on with just a little room to spare. Perfect.

Good quality SS tips. Unfortunately they didn't fit my car, but that's not the fault of the product. The attachment piece is pretty big and bulky but if your stock pipes are similar in diameter I don't think it'd fit anyway. Go to Home Depot and just pick up some plain old screws.

This exhaust tip slides on nice and tight if you file away the inside burrs left by manufacturing the set screw holes. The fit is so snug on a 2012 IMPREZA you can forget the 2 set screw/clamp assemblies. Smooth. Looks perfect! Local SUBARU DEALER wanted $48 for a tip that I doubt would have paired any better. Very happy. Flawless finish. 3A RACING inscription almost invisible.

Installed 2 of them on my 03 infinity i35 after new muffler installation. Looks better than original. Might need to monkey around a bit to get them to look straight. Also, on the bent pipe finding the right position is tricky, but fairly easy. Thank You.

Nice looking tip. Great Price! Doesn't fit 2 1/4 " pipe as described, only up to a 2" pipe. Decided not to return and made it fit with a pipe expander.

Very nice looking tailpipe tip, it makes my 2011 Prius looks more upscale and luxury. The overall quality is great so far, the fitting/clamping end section will fit pipe size from 1 1/2" to 2 1/4 inches, installed this less than 5 minutes.Can't beat Amazon price and their superior service.
