Brooklyn Beans Maple Sleigh 100% Arabica Craft Roasted Ground Coffee, Premium Maple Flavored Roast, 12 Oz Bag

I'm a coffee drinker for 43 years. I use to work at a gourmet coffee shop back in mid 80s. Right when flavored coffee was a new thing. I ordered this because what I was going to order was reshuffled because of delivery schedules at Amazon & a portion of my order was cancelled. As I went to reprocess my order w a Community Coffee Mardi Gras this came in my scroll of items. The name, the packaging and the price seemed intriguing. I was like Humm let's try this instead. I'm always up for a new flavor and prefer plain powdered creamer but still like the flavor liquid but I've stepped away from the flavor liquids to cut calories and personally like the powder cream. So it came and loved the strip pull open and zip lock close. I hate those fold over w the clasp bar and stickers to keep shut. Always accident rip those bags trying to open and always make a accidental hole in the bag, eventually spilling grounds and just one more frustration I can't stand. But not w this one. SIMPLE... OPEN AND ZIP SHUT. I use a coffee press and boiling water even though ur not saposid to bring to a boil but IDC .. so my first round was a bit rushed making it, had cats n a dog demanded my attention and considered my making was quick and rushed so it was a bit week for my taste but I decided to, as usual leave the rest in my press and heat up the next day and morning came I reheated and it wasn't bitter or acidic, because sometimes I use the left over on ice. So it does leave a ground powder in base of press, which is fine w me because it isn't filtered. I like both cups. Later I took my time and measured properly which is saposid 1T for every 2 cups. But I like mine stronger so heaping spoonful about a cup ... Used 3 and poured in my water to the count of ten. I'm kind of programmed like counting while adding water , I'm almost sixty so .. I stirred it around and pressed and used Amazons Red bottle powdered creamer about ten squeezes on circle pour spout and I like it even more . No sick feeling a few minutes later like some of these coffees can make me feel. No acid or feeling like I'm gonna burp and can't. Coffee can be weird sometimes I have tested it and it's the coffees not me. So as I drank it, it stayed smooth and I kept being pleasantly surprised, this retained it consistent flavor through out the whole cup. I look forward to buying this again and trying different flavors and I give it FIVE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ITS SO NICE NO NEED TO ADD OTHER FLAVORS W THIS LIQUID CREAMERS ... no stomach ache and not any unwanted acid or traped sick feelings. It's Bold and would make a good espresso or a good frappe.. I'm not gonna rate coffee w out all the information. From the Coffee Girl. 😜

Does this taste exactly like real maple? No. But, it's very close and very good!! Honestly, I didn't expect coffee and maple to go this well together. It's one of the best flavored coffee items I'ver ever tried. Normally, I prefer my coffee to taste like coffee. But, I love maple and I had to try this. The flavor of maple is a bit subtle. In this case, I think that's actually a good thing. There is a slight bitter caramel note which is quite nice. And, now, my kitchen smells like a bakery... I'd definitely buy this again. Best flavored coffee ever!! Seriously.

A little expensive for my taste, but I could live with inatant, I'm no coffee connoisseur. But to me taste for Value versus the Amazon basics coffee; about the same in terms of everything but price. Leaning towards the Amazon coffee because it's $4 cheaper. This bag is still a good size though, if you just want to try out a new one. The freshness, strength (which I'd say is a medium with how I brew), smoothness all wonderful. The taste is absolutely delicious. And it's not a bad price to be honest.... But highly recommend this coffee for anybody with a sweet tooth and looking for a nutty, light, slightly earthy flavor.

This is my first time trying Brooklyn Beans and I was very impressed! The packaging is great and has a zip lock top, keeping the grounds super fresh. It smells absolutely wonderful (I got the Maple) and it's very smooth. The only reasons I gave it a 4 star is because I wish it had a bit more maple flavor and included suggested brewing instructions somewhere on the package. Otherwise, this was a great buy and I look forward to trying other flavors from Brooklyn Beans! Here's to hoping Maple Sleigh isn't seasonal.

Great tasting coffee

Absolutely scrumptious with perfect balance of flavors!

Amazon made this product my new year round treat! I've been in love with another maple coffee brand however, it's seasonal. According to Rufus AI Sleigh's version is available year round. Aroma + Taste= Delicious! Somehow my garage freezer's stockpile of Sleigh's Maple coffee keeps getting smaller. It dawned on me my adult daughters enter/exit through the garage when in my neighborhood. Well, it's at least good to know I can keep all of us happy year round with Sleigh's Maple Coffee! (No need to hoard.)

I ordered this not knowing anything about the company and thought I would give it a try because I was craving a nice maple flavor for the fall. I didn't see anything saying if it was a light, medium or dark roast, which seemed unusual. It says it has natural and artificial flavoring. I'd be happier if it was only naturally flavored, but am happy the artificial flavor was disclosed on the label. I would describe this as a coffee with light flavor. Certainly not a strong coffee taste, but nothing wrong with that as everyone has different preferences and I actually prefer weaker blends throughout the day and especially in the evening. It seemed fresh and arrived well packaged. The reason I took off 2 stars for this product is that is tastes nothing like maple. My first thought about the flavor was store/generic brand hazelnut coffee. Not bad, but certainly not maple and definitely not premium. I served it to several other people and asked them about the flavor. Nobody said maple and everyone said this is a nice, very lightly flavored hazelnut coffee. Decent coffee, but disappointing if you want any maple flavor.
