The Lexus 300h and variants is particularly vexing in terms of finding an iPhone holder that will mount someplace and NOT block the built-in navigation screen. The air vents are on this auto do not have enough louvers to attach the mount of holders designed specifically for air vent installations. And there is precious little surface area to mount a stick-on unit, but this one will fit on the "chrome" plastic bezel surrounding the navigation console. And it sticks just fine. Nice product. Someone is making a huge margin on this given the pricing.

I mostly adore this product, but there are two things that hold it back from a perfect score in my book. The first is that the 3M adhesive it comes with just has not done the job in my car. I've gone through two pads, following the instructions to the letter (and even being extra conservative with the timings and thoroughness of prep/cleaning/bonding), but the adhesive failed within 4-6 months both times. I am experimenting with aftermarket adhesive solutions and will try to remember to edit this if I find one that works better. The second drawback is specific to my own use case. As an iPhone owner, I value Apple's CarPlay functionality. However, with my current car, that only works when the phone is directly connected to the vehicle by USB. So I can't actually use the wireless charging and get CarPlay at the same time. In hindsight, I should have gone with the cheaper non-wireless mount. I do really like the form factor and build quality of this mount. It pairs nicely with my Peak Design phone case (which I love). The magnet is excellent; not once in years has my phone even wiggled slightly, let alone broken the connection. So, yeah, it's a well built product, held back mainly by the adhesive. I know they sell a vent mount, which might be the way to go in the end.

Like all PD products, this car mount/charger is exquisitely designed and made. The fit and finish is flawless, and it works exactly as described.

I love the convenience of charging my phone while I’m driving. I has great stickiness and magnet strength.

Adheres well, no worries about the charger coming off. I use the Pixel 7 Pro with PeakDesign's case, and the magnet strength is perfect. I think I could get into a head-on collision and it'd stay on, but it's not difficult to remove. Big problem though, the charging is very intermittent. While I'm driving, I'd notice the phone lighting up as if it's just connecting to the charger- multiple times. This is unrelated to bumps and such, it just doesn't keep charging consistently. May have something to do with the case, but these are both Peak Design products, and I have no issues with my desk wireless charger with the case. It also doesn't charge impressively fast. If I have a bunch of apps open, it'll charge enough to keep gaining battery (instead of draining), but not by much. I'd maybe gain ~2-4% over the course of a 30m drive (compared to the ~20-40% gain from using my desk wireless charger). So the actual charging capability is disappointing, however it'd be fine on a road trip. If I need a quick charge, I'd unplug the USB-C cable and just charge my phone directly. Build quality is fantastic, only complaint is the charging speed. I'm not sure if this behavior is abnormal or not.

This is the best phone mounts of the four or five I’ve tried. My 4Runner does not have many appropriate surfaces on which to mount. I chose a small surface below the fan switch. I do have to glance down a bit to see, but on the plus side, there is never any glare on the screen and from outside the car it is practically invisible. I would recommend buying the phone case from the same company. I had a cheap one from a big box store that was difficult to place on the sweet spot

La base en cuestión es bastante robusta y no se gira con el movimiento del vehículo. EL problema está en que el adhesivo con el que venía, estaba ya más que pasado y no pegaba correctamente. Limpié concienzudamente el salpicadero y lo dejé pegado día y medio, pero se despegó al instante de usarlo. Muy mal en ese aspecto. Al valer lo que vale le pongo dos estrellas porque no es de recibo que llegue el producto sin que pegue correctamente.

Have had this installed on my car for around 4 years now. No signs of the adhesive failing at all. Magnet is plenty strong and keeps my phone in place and keeps my phone charged when using as a satnav. The price of the product is fairly expensive but it is a well built quality product so well worth it.
