"Birches in the Wind" - A gust of wind rustles the leaves of three white birch trees on an Autumn day. This impressionist watercolor painting was inspired by the gorgeous colors of a New England autumn day. I painted this piece on ultra smooth Yupo paper for brilliant effects. The wet colors floating on the surface of the paper created the swirling leaves of the trees.
