Great box for deck building and collecting.
This is definitely worth the money at $115. Great pulls and utility cards that would pay for the box. I pulled an Foil Ancient Copper Dragon and a few Ancient Gold Dragons in just a couple of packs. The cards I pulled are fun and great for some decks I'm building. If you need dragons this is a good set to pull from.

The price isn't worth it
Card quality is good and the cards aren't really allocated so well. 4 boxes and almost all of the same cards in regards to rares. I get its a smaller set, but still...Mythics are tough to hit value wise. All 12 were below pack price and only 1 foil was maybe double digits. I'd have to say buy singles over boxes. 18 packs is really tough for the price. Having this and the previous D&D set add a new take to card play, but imo not worth the price. Been playing MTG for a LONG time, there was a lot of opportunity to shift how the game is played and introduce a new game style. Hopefully Warhammer will be better. All in all, it's nice to have in the collection with an offering of dice rolls to chance outcome. Enjoy!

Arrived as described.
Product came in Wizards Seal just as you would expect. Best pull I got was an Ancient Silver Dragon, but that's just how MTG goes. Fun set, lots of cards for commander.

Let's Talk About Set Boosters
Let's start out being clear about one thing: set boosters already aren't the best of deals. The problem is that they're not truly random. The rares might be, but having bought about two cases over multiple expansions and seen what comes out of them in what order, I can assure you that the bulk of these things (commons and uncommons) are absolutely not random. That means that it's not going to take too many packs before you start getting some curiously common repetitions of sequences. For one box, you might avoid it. More than that and you're already going to have a bad time. The problem here arises when you consider both the size of the set that you're buying against and what they've done to the set boosters to accommodate the weird format that it's designed to operate in. This set is a Commander Draft set, which means that your basic draft boosters come with 20 cards instead of 15 and the draft process is a little bit different. That, in turn, means that the card counts on your set boosters also need to be different to maintain the value across the two products. The result is that you're getting a lot fewer boosters in the box than you might be used to, which means there's a lot more up to chance for how many rares and mythics you actually end up pulling. The law of averages tends to smooth that number out proportionally to the number of packs that you open, and you're not going to be popping nearly as many packs for that to get right.Given that, I cannot recommend getting set boosters for this particular expansion. At all. If I had the chance to go back, instead of getting three, I would get zero, and put all my money into draft boosters. Hard pass on these ones. If you do get them, you're going to get what it says on the tin, but if you're looking for value, your shots at the chase cards for this set will be worse and you're going to end up with a collection heavily skewed towards uncommons. In at least one case I managed to miss picking up a common at all, for instance. So, no if you ask me, but you do you.

Solid
Probably my favorite set since the standard D&D set. Really great cards for Commander play, especially if you're looking to build a dragon themed deck. I didn't get the Karlach or Minsc I was hoping for, but that's the risk of buying packs.
