Salt Water Taffy, Assorted Salt Water, 80 Oz

Six or so years ago, my wonderful spouse dumped a handful of these in my Christmas stocking. And ever since then I have been hooked. These things are so good. My biggest struggle has been finding "Sassy Taffy" regularly, in a cost effective package. I have absolutely no problem buying this whopping 5 pound bag, because not only is it cost-effective... if you store them in a sealed container they stay fresh for months (assuming they last that long... which they won't 'cause they are soooo good!) Honestly, I'm not big into taffy but I make a HUGE exception here. THESE things are mouth-wateringly tasty to the point of being slightly addictive (evidenced by the fact I am buying yet another 5lb bag.) All the varieties within ARE mildly sour, but not overly so. Sassy Taffy is one of the few candies out there which are marketed as 'sour' but not as some gimick aimed at making tears stream down your cheeks. Instead, Taffy Town leverages sourness to produce an incredibly bright flavor experience for each of the varieties found in the bag. If you are old enough to remember Gator Gum (when it first hit the market), Sassy taffy is similar in the mouth-watering brightness; but here you have six different flavors and the experience holds as it slowly dissolves during a satisfying chew. Sooooo Good! And folks... Its MADE in the USA, and not in some unregulated god-knows-where factory by slave labor. That a big plus in my book, but even if it doesn't weigh into your decision making process all I can say is, I've never met a person I didn't share these that didn't like them. 5 pounds seems about right. They might actually last the month.

The orange and the yellow are my favorite. I do not like the red and I do not like the blueberry. They are not sour especially the red one has no sourness at all. It’s horrible going to search for different candy if I could only order the yellow and the orange it would be absolutely wonderful. When you claim sour candy, they should all be sour not just the orange and the lemon.

OH MY GOD, the Taffytown Caramel Swirl is outrageously good. Their caramel cheesecake used to be my favorite; however, since they stopped making it, this one has taken its place. The texture is perfect, with just the right amount of chewiness. I have tried many different brands of taffy and Taffytown is hands down the best in my opinion. Their products have always been consistently the same and I have been able to rely on the flavor not varying from batch to batch..

I have just recently become addicted to salt water taffy-thanks to beach club resort at Walt Disney world. (The restaurant there leaves you a handful of salt water taffy after you eat.) So since I live in Florida have not had the easiest time trying to find real salt water taffy. I had been buying it at Bealls department store, but it was getting expensive. So i got the 5 lb bag to split with my son. This taffy by taffy town DOES have a salt flavor, but I like it. The flavors are all pretty good. Only one tasted chemically, still don't know what it was supposed to be. But most you can name & nail first bite! I'm having fun eating this candy. It came fast & fresh, I would buy it again. The assortment is pretty good too. They are not as hard & chewy as the ones you find in a box at department stores they are a little softer, but still fun to eat. Def. a great value too.

Taffy was hard a rock! Terrible. Tasteless tooth breaker. They must just let it sit in their warehouse without any expiration date or quality control on their part. To send this kind of total crap is despicable. NO QUALITY CONTROL!!! Buy at your own risk!!!!!

This salt water taffy was great, just like I remember when I was a child. Didn't stick to the wrappers and not too sweet. Also liked the variety of the flavors. Great value also. Highly recommend! 😁

Pretty decent taffy was expecting a little more of a variety, I only got 12 out of the 80 flavors. I wasn’t a fan of the taste at first, but when you bite into it and stretch it, it taste a lot better.

HUGE bag! Wasn’t thinking when I ordered 5 lbs lol. All the flavours are amazing. Made some little gift bags with some for family. It’s going to take forever to eat these, but then I will buy again. LOVE this product! 💗

This is TaffyTown, gourmet taffy in a huge variety of great flavors, no problems there. Very hard to find in Canada otherwise. Thing is... 5lbs is a COMICALLY huge amount of it. Like, way more than any one person could eat in months. Definitely enough for a large family gathering, busy Halloween or school treat. Make sure you're prepared to deal with (at least) a couple hundred pieces of gourmet candy at once, is all I am saying.

Arrived on time and well packaged. Individually wrapped is exactly what is needed for these covid times as most places won't allow items if not packaged so. They were part of a thank you for the nurses at a local hospital and were very well received. As good as any salt water taffy I have ever tasted.
