I bought this Food Slicer primarily to slice Meats used in making various jerkies. Beef jerky, pork jerky, pineapple jerky. Over the weekend I used it to slice a sirloin roast that was semi Frozen, I used the attached non serrated blade and I was very satisfied with the results. Clean up of the crevices could be a little tricky so I recommend having some kind of round push brush to get in between the crevices and get the meat particles out. But I would recommend this brand I would recommend this slicer.

This was a gift but I think I was just splurging but thankfully it is being used to cut my wife's fresh bread the meat we cut and even cheese

For a person that doesn’t do commercial meets just likes sandwiches and cooking in the kitchen. It’s a great product works as it says it does.

I used the item for the first time. I sliced some beef. Then some pork. While using slicer one of the cheap plastic guards broke. Then shortly after the gear the turns the blade stripped out and stopped working. The supplier sent me new parts to replace the stripped gear. Installed new gear and started Slicing meat made a few cuts and the gear stripped again. Replaced gear with the last part. Same thing happened again. Total junk. Needed up tossing the thing in the trash.

Very nice budget meat slicer. Cuts with little effort and easily cuts a roast somewhat thin. I did find that I had to put some vegetable oil on the slides to make it stay smooth but beyond that it works like a charm. IT does take a little work to get it cleaned up though.
