Between osteoarthritis and ehlers-danlos, I hardly sleep. We've had this mattress topper for more than six months and it has definitely helped. After switching to a new mattress a couple of years ago, we couldn't afford to switch again, so I did research and read reviews on this topper. Glad I did! It has enough cushion that it helps support my spine, and my hips aren't hurting as bad. The only downside is that you sleep a little bit warmer, but that's expected with anything you add to the bed. Bonus, it fits deep pockets, aka thicker mattresses! We've also had no problems with it slipping. My 19-year-old liked it so much that he asked one for Christmas for his twin bed! Recommend if you're looking for an affordable option when your mattress is failing you!

My mattress is still in good shape, but I was starting to have issues with pressure points, so after reading lots of reviews I bought the "4 Inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper" on Amazon. There are three versions to choose from: Plush: 3 inch memory foam, 1 inch of quilted topper Enhanced: 2 inch memory foam, 2 inch quilted topper Cooling Comfort: 2 inch memory foam, 2 inch cool-to-touch topper I opted for Enhanced version. Product shipped quickly and was easy to set up. Just open the seal, spread out the foam on the center of the bed, come back in a few hours and it's almost all the way expanded to the edges of the mattress. Mine did not have any stains or weird smell as some reviews have mentioned. I really wanted my first night sleeping to be a full comfort experience, but it wasn't. I have a history of issues with my cervical spine and situations like a too-soft bed can aggravate my condition. Unfortunately, this was the case for me with this product. First laying down, it was super comfortable. The gel pad has a nice conform to the body and spring-back. But when I would try to sleep, my head would be so much higher than my body, it put strain on my neck and was not only uncomfortable it would start to pinch nerves in my neck causing arm pain and numbness. This occurred with or without using a pillow. (Note: I know this is a ME problem and not a mattress problem.) After a couple of nights I decided to take off the gel pad and just use the 2 inch pillowtop. MAGIC! I now had exactly what I needed, some plush topping of my existing mattress and all pressure points eliminated. The loft in the pillowtop is perfect for me. I've been sleeping on it for 2 months now and it's still just as fluffy as when I first took it out of the box. When I change the sheets, it puffs right back up. I contacted the company to find out if they sell the pillowtop by itself, should I want another one, but it's not sold separately. The company answered my query within minutes and I was appreciative of the customer service. Even though the gel pad didn't work for me, I am very happy with the quality of the product and would recommend to someone who is in the market for a mattress topper. (I gave the gel mattress to a relative who always wanted to try one) EDIT: I’ve now been sleeping on this for over a year and it’s still performing the same. It stays fluffy and comfortable while reducing pressure points.

Why did I wait so long to buy this? I have a Simmons Comfor Pedic Phenom Firm King. It is very firm and that's what my now ex-wife needed for her back. It hurt me from day one and I'd have to down 4 Advil every morning. I had a cheaper pad for a while that didn't help at all. This is the best thing I've bought in a long time. Worth every penny. It arrived the next day after the 2-day Prime purchase, 24 hours earlier then it said at purchase. I was shocked when I got the txt that it was already delivered. It was packed very well. I read the recommendation about letting it sit for a while to let it expand, but I didn't have time to wait. I put it right on and it expanded as far as I could tell right away. The dimensions were perfect fit for the mattress. Laid on top of it precisely, corner to corner. The pillow top cover is also very very nice. It is very stretchable with more then enough room to fit over the pad and the thick mattress. Very easy to install. I went to sleep on it 15 minutes after putting it on. As soon as I climbed in I knew I'd made a good purchase. It is so comfortable. Didn't need more then a minute to fall asleep. I usually toss and turn all night because of the pressure points on the mattreseetss causing me constant pain throughout the night. I never moved once and had the best night sleep I've had in a decade. I woke up in the exact same position I fell asleep in, which never happens for me. After two nights sleeping on it I had to write a review. The first two days in a row I haven't had to take advil when I wake up because of my back pain. There was no harsh chemical smell at all. It smelled like new material but nothing harsh and I didn't even notice any smell from it once the cover and sheets were put on top. The dog also likes it. He was hilarious when he first jumped up. He was pawing at it and wagged his tail. then plopped down and stayed in the same spot all night, snoring like a logger. He used to go up and down from the bed to the floor multiple times a night. 2 nights in a row he stayed in the same spot at the foot of the bed....... DOG APPROVED I would recommend to anyone that wants a nice soft restful sleep

It really is 5 star because I am sleeping so good now. Supportive and I do not wake up with aches and pains. But the one thing that is bad is the smell. It has a chemical smell. I laid it out on another bed for 2 days and during the day opened a window that was right next to it in hopes it would take away the smell faster. Well it did help some by the time I put it on my bed, but now after a week with it on the bed I can still smell it. Not as bad but the smell is still there. I really hate to say this because it really is so comfortable and I sleep so deeply now. But I have to honest.

Just what we were looking for! HOWEVER!... There was absolutely no indication in the description that this was US sizing - not UK. SO, the item was MASSIVELY too big! So - lost a star for incorrect description and another 2 for the absolute ball-ache having to repack the b*st*rd thing to send it back for an error that wasn't ours!

Wow! This mattress pad is exactly what we needed. We purchased a new mattress that was just too firm. Rather than exchange it or purchase a new one, we thought we would try this option first! This is a total game changer! It immediately made our king size bed comfortable! It took anway all the stiffness from our mattress while still giving the support we needed. My ongoing back pain has already subsided substantially. The only problem is we both sleep so well, it’s difficult to wake up! Some reviews commented on the cooling factor. For me, I do sleep hot normally but I don’t find this to make my sleep warmer or cooler. I purchased it for the comfort, not cooling, and it 100% provides that. I loved this so much I purchased one for our spare bedroom so our guests can enjoy the same restful sleep!
