If you love strong coffee, Black Insomnia is the real deal. The flavor is bold, smooth, and honestly amazing. You can enjoy it however you like whether iced, with cream, or milk, but to truly appreciate its depth, drink it black. A word of caution though. This coffee is not for beginners. It contains 1105 milligrams of caffeine per 12 fluid ounces. For context, the Food and Drug Administration recommends no more than 400 milligrams of caffeine per day. So yes, this coffee is intense. If you have heart issues or are sensitive to caffeine, please be careful. If not, this stuff will send you to meet Saint Peter. I personally love it. I used to drink five cups of regular coffee a day just to function. With this, one cup gets me through the day. I’m from Colombia, and over there it’s pretty normal to grow up drinking coffee, so my tolerance is high. This coffee works perfectly for me and delivers exactly what it promises. If you are an experienced coffee drinker and want something that really kicks, this is it. Just know your limits and enjoy responsibly.

The taste is good but I really can't tell if its truly stronger that DeathWish coffee. Death Wish coffee had me chopping down trees and wanting to build whole houses.🤣 I can't say that I have experienced this feeling with Black Insomnia Extreme Caffeine Coffee as of yet.

Smooth taste strong caffeine well worth the price

I usually don't leave reviews, but this coffee tastes terrible! 3 stars for the caffeine, but it's nowhere near as drinkable as I expected. I made a 2 shot latte the same way I make my normal morning brew and I cannot stand the taste. It's made with Robusto beans instead of Arabica (the good tasting kind) in order to ensure the high caffeine content, but man, I didn't expect it to be that bad. Now to be fair to the company, the intense media coverage here lately has probably caused them to run out of stock quite quickly, and it took me almost a month to get my bag from Amazon. I was barely able to order it 2 days before it became unavailable entirely, so maybe I just got a bad bag. The beans were pre-ground so that probably didn't help matters either. I'd be willing to try it again, but only if I got it within 2 weeks of roasting as whole bean to give it another honest evaluation on taste. I think I will mix the rest of this with another brand of coffee to increase its strength and balance the taste some. However. It definitely has caffeine. Two small sips, 10 minutes later, and I'm wide awake. I'm used to consuming around 400mg+ of caffeine a day and it's pretty difficult to get that caffeine buzz going now, but this did it. As the bag says, Sleeping Is Cheating, and I think Black Insomnia will definitely keep you up. Overall, if I had the choice between this and Death Wish, I would easily choose Death Wish any day of the week just for the taste alone. This has a stronger kick, in my opinion, but if you can't drink it, it doesn't matter. Maybe given some more time and a little more refining of the taste, this could make a good tasting strong coffee, but as of right now, it still has a ways to go on flavor.

Are you sitting comfortably then i’ll begin , This stuff will wake you up, keep you up and possibly **** you up. I made myself a cafetière using 2 tbsp for 2 cups..... Yeah don’t do this it put me in hospital with caffeine poisoning. Slow and steady with this coffee, great flavour it does the job but it’s strong strong stuff. You have been warned 😁

I bought this as a gift for my friend as she is a strong coffee conosssour. She has 6 shots in her coffees when out ordering so she likes her caffeine really strong! I bought her this coffee thinking it will make her really happy as it claims to be super strong and she didn't feel anything from it. I had read reviews first to check it was strong so perhaps she is just used to stronger coffee. I don't know. All I know is that I felt annoyed I'd spent money on something for her with the excitement and anticipation of her being over joyed by it and she wasn't.
