Saltair Body Wash (Black Tide)

I originally bought this Saltaire Black Tide body wash because I thought the name and color scheme would look great in my recently remodeled RV bathroom that we have seasonally at the beach. I will continue to buy it because both my husband and I love the smell, and how great our skin feels after using, clean and moisturized. We are definitely fans of this brand, and will stick with Black Tide at our camp, and are planning on trying Exotic Pulp in our home next.

It lathers well, feels good to the touch, smells great, has a lot going for it. Nice eco friendly packaging that’s chic too. However, shipping is a nightmare. If you want it, order it weeks in advance. You cannot use your Sephora or Prime and have it here in 2 days. They apparently ship it to you using pack mules. Maybe they’ll figure it out, I hope they do, b/c it’s way better than my last purchase of Naturium’s body wash.

First off let me say that the scent of Black Tide is to die for! Slightly masculine leaning but perfect for those who refer a gender neutral wash that is more woodsy/cologne leaning. I find those types of scents extremely clean, but that’s personal preference. In terms of moisturizing, I may just have extremely sensitive skin but I haven’t found this product to be at the higher end of moisture which is a shame. Otherwise this review would be 5 stars across the board. I’m willing to continue using the product in the hopes my skin will just grow accustomed to it, however I would be careful if you have extremely sensitive skin you may experience some skin tightening and itching especially in Winter!

I purchased 4 bottles in different scents about a month ago seems as though the bottles weren’t full .. I have other body washes that I use on a regular and never had this issue .. if you purchase check your bottles first.

I like the Black Tide scent very much. I have a sensitivity to some perfume scents but this one didn't affect me in a negative way at all. It doesn't foam up very much, which is fine with me, but I feel very clean and moisturized after showering. I highly recommend Saltair Black Tide Body Wash

The product while backed as adverized, persoanl preference, the delivery package was severly damaged with light damage to contents - still making the product unsuitable for gift giving, the intended purpose. Saltair was advised but has not responded, likely waiting for the pictures I took.

Very nice scent (black tide), and makes your skin very soft and refreshed. Definitely one of the best body washes we’ve tried. Looking forward to trying other scent varieties.

I’ve tried many scents by this brand and this one is the best! It’s more masculine smelling but also very clean/neutral. Does not leave any weird film. Buy this immediately.
