After 2 years - still works perfectly
I had just repowered the boat and had all the leaking mount holes filled with fiberglass and re-gelcoated. Last thing I wanted to do was drill new holes in the transom. This thing is legit. Works great...for a long time. No holes!

An Elegant Mounting Solution That Eliminates Drill Holes in Your Hull
Do NOT drill waterline holes in your boat hull! This kit, using a very powerful 3M adhesive, eliminates the need for drill holes and prevents leaks. Follow the simple location and surface preparation instructions and this mount will stay attached forever. Somewhat expensive for such a simple device, but in the end, money well spent.

Great idea!
This thing worked great. I'm glad I bought it. It took me a few try's to get my transducer mounted at the right height, and instead of having holes in my boat I only have extra holes in this little pad. I had my boat doing 45 MPH just a few days after installation and it held on like a champ. I would recommend.

Super easy to install
Follow the instructions carefully ; once you stick it - IT'S DONE PERIOD. I let mine sit for 7 days after install, holds my depth finder in place no problem. Just for FUN; tried to remove it. NOPE , NOPE & NOPE !!! I can see why they say you can mount other things to it.

Mount Depth Transducer Without Drilling Any Holes
I followed the directions to clean the surface and rough it up with the supplied pad and stuck it to the transom. Waited a few days and then mounted the transducer to the Stern Pad and ran the wire up the back and over the transom and used the suppled wire holders to run the transducer wire over to an opening used for the steering hydraulic lines. I then ran the wire inside the bilge to the depth sounder. The Stern pad allowed me to mount the transducer without making any holes in the boat. The sonar system worked great. Great product.

Stuck like chuck!
Followed directions exactly to the letter. Going on 3 years now, and still stuck like chuck.

Not good, if you have a jet
Here's my mixed reviews. I installed this on my polyethylene boat. The pad installed super easy and the adhesion was really strong. When pulled on the pad, it moved the whole boat. After installing the transducer, the transducer felt very well mounted. Everything looked great. I take my boat in really shollow rivers, and in my first outing I went through a really shollow spot. The transducer hit the bottom and broke off from the pad. The pad was not sturdy enough to take hit. I wish the pad we're make out of a denser material. Since I go into such shallow areas, I might need to come up with another way to mount the transducer. If someone is planning on boating in locations where there is not threat of hitting bottom, I think this would be the perfect solution. An additional note, if you want to remove the pad, I just stayed the pad with wd40, and slowely worked the liquid into the seal with a razor. The pad eventually came off cleanly.
