How / where do i order parts for this tensioner?

My tensioner came with a good diagram and parts list. The parts are probably available from the manufacturer if you still have the book, or can find it online. This is a well-made tool and frankly if it has worn out from use I would just buy another.

What is the load strength?

If you do two straps one on each end around 1500lbs but use three means one in the middle you can balance your weight better up to dbl.

Can this be used with plastic buckles?

Plastic buckles are considered low tension. I use metal buckles and this tensioner pulls them very tight. Might break plastic.
