MSR HyperFlow Microfilter Maintenance Kit

Very easy to use and simple tools. This has made it possible to keep my over ten year old Hyper flow going strong.

This is the first water filter that I have owned, but I have used different makes and models of filters while on camping trips with friends. The MSR Hyper Flow is a more complicated system to use and maintain, compared to the ceramic disk type filters that I have seen. On the plus side, it is much lighter than the other filters, making it a good choice if you are on a multi day packpacking trip, and you are looking to shed as much weight as possible from your pack. I had one of the defective filter cartridges that make the unit all but impossible to pump, but after reading the manufactures statement review above, and contacting them,they promptly sent me a new cartridge that works properly.

A perfect maintenance kit for my MSR HyperFlow! I haven't used it in years and wanted to do a little work on it before I began using it again. Good as new!

First, what MSR product isn't awesome? I have not had to use this maintenance kit for my HyperFlow water filter, but the parts are good - in a small case that I can carry with my filter on a backpacking trip - it seems great.

Just a repair kit has everything I need to fix my go to water filter. Sitting waiting to be used if needed.
