Great product!
I used this product along with coco coir and perlite to plant all of my seeds this spring. So far, everything is a huge success. I attribute that success to the new soil composition that is better able to hold water, which is essential to seed germination. I'll definitely get more for my summer seedlings.

Chunky!
Exactly what I was looking for, for my (mostly) aroid collection. Nice coarse pieces, very little dust, and all fairly uniform in size. Price and quantity options were great for my needs aswell. Will definitely be buying again, but hopefully 10qt last me awhile 😅

Product is great but…
The product came in a very thin plastic bag. It wasn’t sealed on one end so it spilled in the box. The box had holes is so not sure how much product was lost in transport. So a little disappointed in that but the product seems to be good quality.

Works well to keep the soil loose, to help keep soil evenly moist, and to help with drainage.
I grow most of our veggies in our basement and use a high quality potting soil for all of them. Many of the veggies I grow require evenly moist soil that does not compact and that drains well. This vermiculite is very light weight and does not add to weight of the pot, yet it absorbs enough moisture to keep the soil moist while allowing better drainage of excess water.I have been adding this vermiculite to my potting soil, and it seems to be helping a lot with the plants that need to be kept moist, such as cucumber, string beans and tomatoes. It is easier to keep them moist without overwatering them. This vermiculite also helps to keep the soil looser so that it doesn't compact with watering. For example, carrots are easier to harvest since they are not stuck in the soil.30 quarts of vermiculite goes a long way even with the amount of plants I grow. It comes in a plastic bag in a box. I just leave the opened bag in the box and use as needed. When plants are watered, it does not float to the top as perlite does - it stays in the soil. I noticed that this vermiculite is not quite as fine as vermiculite I have bought in the past, and, considering the quantity of 30 quarts, it is less expensive than others I have found. I like this better since it does a better job of keeping the soil loose and aerated. This vermiculite is more of a gold color rather than the light brown color of other I have bought. I really like this vermiculite and what it does for my plants. I definitely plant to buy more of it.I hope this review was helpful for you.

Good quality Vermiculite
Works just as well as the expensive ones. I used it to start rose seeds and it worked wonderfully.

Pieces are nice and large
This was exactly what I was looking for. A large, course perlite. Monsteras do best in well draining soil and their roots like to grab onto things so this has been perfect.
