AF Dynamic Black Air Intake Systems + Filter Box Heat Shield 2012-2016 Compatible With Foucs 2.0 2.0L Non Turbo

Instructions are hard to understand....but everything else is good...i skipped the plate that goes one the side because it didn't fit or i didn't know how to put it but it really doesn't need it.

BEWARE the only way I was able to do this was by using a video in the review section. None of the parts are clearly labeled and are not referenced at all in the instructions it tends to say "Provided hardware". Looks and sounds pretty good, but some fitment is off. Another big issue the hardware for the front mount the screw is just way too long had to sub in another bolt till I can get a proper one. Also the kit came with a shroud for the filter I assume but no instructions or clear use of it. Also tried to message AF Dynamic on Ebay their main store front and never got a response.

Better photos on instructions would be nice i did have to add a piece to make one part work. But other then that pretty simple. Sounds awesome and improved mpg and responsiveness

I’m giving 5 stars for the customer service. I didn’t like the sound it made when accelerating, I pulled it off and went back to stock. The customer service was excellent and gave me a full refund. It looked good installed and seemed to be a quality kit, the instructions weren’t the best, but the install video from another customer really helped. I just didn’t like the sound.

I really like how this intake looks on my car, and unlike some other people I like the new sound from under the hood! My biggest complaint was The Instructions were Terrible! I put parts together and took them apart so many times because the instructions were so confusing! If you have installed a cold air intake before then install for you probably won't be to bad. This was my first time (and I'm pretty handy) but it took me a little over 3 hours because of poor instructions. All my frustration aside about the directions for install, I would recommend this product because when it's done it looks good, sounds good, and I have noticed a difference in throttle response.

Great product for the money. Well worth it. However, the installation instructions could be more clear and written better.

Having installed 3 full intake/exhaust systems (Banks) in 3 different motor homes I was interested in saving a few bucks and give a try to a different manufacturer. In the box there are 2 different pleading statements from af dynamics to not give a 1 or 2 star rating before giving them a chance to correct. I contacted them several times with the last contact being; "I'm done with the install. The project is complete but the instructions were terrible. I am a decent mechanic with these kinds of installs and based on my experience I was able to figure things out. I could have saved 1.5 hours of study/head scratching with better install instructions or a direct contact point with af dynamics. I want to give you all the requested consult before I give a review." Poor instructions include:bad photos, generic instructions not specific to my car, and no contact to af dynamics including phone support. Banks does!!
