What is the actual outside diameter of the 8, 8.5 9.5 lid itself?

Not sure if this helps but I bought the 9.5, 10, 11 size and the outside diameter of this one is 11 3/8” . I have to say that this lid is great. Thinking of getting another size.

Are these oven safe? There is plastic at the center of the silicone

However, I DON'T think I would recommend using them in an oven, especially if they would be placed up near the broil element, which operates during preheat, and in some ovens also during the regular bake cycle. I used mine on a replacement lid for an older CrockPot, where the temp will never get anywhere near 450 degrees.
