Precision Woodworking T Square 12inch, Reference Square for Layout & Setup

Lightweight, pretty accurate, dead straight, and perfectly at 90 degrees on both sides. Easy to use, and helps on those long cross cuts.

Wow, talk about precision engineering and machining!! Absolutely amazing. I am using metric for all of my cabinetry work -- much easier to deal with than Imperial fractions. This ruler makes all of the difference.

By no means is this an official test, but after receiving the item I took a piece of plywood with a perfectly flat side and struck a line on the left side of the ruler, and then moved the ruler so that I could overlay that same line with the right side of the square. In my mind, if these lines overlap perfectly and I don't see any divergence or the line growing thicker up the piece, it's square enough for furniture and cabinetry. I saw no divergence and no play in the tool. I'll update if anything changes, but I see this as a viable substitute to woodpecker, at least for 12 inches. I am not necessarily advocating to use a discount brand like this for longer t squares, as I'd imagine those require much more machining precision to stay precise, but for 12" and under I'll be using this brand and will at least try longer sizes prior to buying the name brand version.

I owned already few of AKNgoes tools for a year and they are superior quality. This brand easily can be compared to woodpeckers brand at half price but same craftmanship. In particular this 36" T-square has holes at every 1/16 and it made from high grade aluminum stainless screws. Highly recommending this brand.

I checked this every which way possible against other items known to be square. It's perfect. I also checked several of the marked holes and they all seem to be perfectly on point. Even though it's not made in US, you could say it's assembled in the US because it comes in two pieces and you screw it together 😂. I also ordered a few Pentel 0.7 mechanical pencils, but I found that the lead breaks when dragging over rough wood so I'm going to try some 0.9 and see how that works out. The graduation holes are big enough. The edges are tapered and the butt stock has ledges that ride the material your measuring. Truly an awesome product for precise carpentry! The 12" version seems to be perfect for most things I cut, but I can see myself investing in the 8" and 24" ones too. If you are on the fence about this, don't be. There's only one other T square like this and it's way, way more expensive.

I ordered this 2 times. The first time last month, it arrived slightly warped/bowed length wise where the end would be lifted above surface about 1-2mm high at the end (beginning around 7-8" mark, rising gradually the rest of the 5"length) The I returned the first one and reordered it a second time. Same non-flat issue as the first order, PLUS it was NOT EVEN SQUARE! over the 12" length it was off by 5mm from square at the end of the 12". Unacceptable for any t-square to be that inaccurate, unless it was designed as a gimmick and not intended for actual use. Considering this is advertised as a high end precision t-square, and priced high to match that - it 100% failed to deliver and is utterly useless. The accuracy it delivers is slightly better than "eye balling it" - I don’t need to pay $90 for an "almost accurate" square. I’ll use a tape measure and piece of paper, it would be more reliable.

I have a few of the AKNgoes products and the are nice. We'll built and great price compared to othe products like Woodpecker.

Item seems well mostly well machined. Disappointed that there were some chips in the red aluminium finish and that the head of the product and length don’t mount as flush as they could.

Just the right and handy size to use.
