Has that bohemian feel
This is a fun and delicious book. I refer to it many times. My friend's have also borrowed it. Good ideas and well presented. Buy it you'll love it.

Inspiring!
Really wonderful. A look at true creatives at home - certainly not for the A Calderone and N Burkus- worshippers. This book shows you there are other ways to create a space - not everyone has to or needs to live in a perfectly created beige-ish bubble that looks like everyone else’s perfectly created bubble.

Actually it's a 4.5
This is a wonderful book and what is written is great-- BUT-- it needed a lot more captions to help us get the most out of the glorious photographs.

Not what I had hoped. Sorry!
I just think I have seen REALLY eclectic styles but this book wasn’t it. Most of the ideas included you would never incorporate in your own home. Major disappointment.

Bizarre
This book is modern meets bizarre. Being returned.

If you have children you may not want them looking in the book
If you have children you may not want them looking in the book due to homosexual/S&M photograph hanging in the bedroom. It is creepy. Otherwise it is just a mediocre book with only a couple of interesting rooms shown.

Lived in style
All the houses are lived it. These aren’t just fashion lay-out photos. A variety of styles. A variety of organization, messes, collections, styles and space. Most still evolving - in real life time. Eclectic- yes! Each a mini biography of the owners. My favorite- Kaori Tatebayashi - “I always dream of a minimal ‘Zen’ kind of space, but I don’t think I’m that sort of person.” My soul sister.
