We love these boats. Ordered two. Love them. Just ordered another. These are well built little guys that have amazing turning ratios. Grandkids love them, as do the grandparents. So, so fun. We always buy the Asurion protection plans when we purchase toys such as these. Have only had to use it once, but well worth the 2.99 ish extra price. Recently, one of the older boats stopped working. Reached out to Asurion and received gift card to replace. Highly recommend these boats AND the protection plans.

Much more water proof than previous version. Kids have a tendency to inadvertently "dunk" these boats. Two Batteries per boat, a definite plus. It helps keep the momentum of fun going for the kids.

My son received this for a birthday present in January. He wasn't able to use it until March, when the weather was nicer and after the window for Amazon returns had closed. After the initial use, it no longer worked. The remote will turn on but will not control the boat. This is very poor quality and not worth your money.

I bought this 2-pack of RC motorized boats for the pool, and the kids absolutely love them! They’re fun, easy to control, and can go both forward and backward — perfect for racing. I really appreciate that the boats come with rechargeable batteries and a backup, which keeps the fun going longer. That said, there are a couple of downsides. We’ve noticed some water seeping into the battery compartment, which has caused minor corrosion. They still work for now, but we're unsure how much longer they'll last. Also, the remote control isn't waterproof — and with a four-year-old who loves jumping into the pool with it, it's already taken a few dunks. Surprisingly, it still works, but again, durability is a concern. Overall, these are great for some quick poolside fun, but manage your expectations — you’re getting what you pay for. I’d recommend them for occasional use or as a fun summer novelty, but probably not something that will last into next season.

I purchased a yellow, blue, and red one for my grandkids. Surprisingly they all synchronized correctly to the individual controllers so all three were being operated in the pool at the same time. Really surprised with the fact that they continued to work considering the rough treatment they went through - 5 yr old sometimes placed upside down in the water. Although some water got inside - they were still working. Have operated since then and still working good. Also come with a 1 year warranty so u can’t beat that t. Neither worked 2 years later. Probably due to the salt water pool

Fun and fast RC boat toy. Motor only starts when placed on water. Fun to play and watch. Ideal to use on any calm water surface. This boat even creates little ripples when driving it through the waters. Battery is contained inside a dry compartment. Really a good buy.

These boats, we bought three of them for the grandkids, just barely lasted a summer. Simply stopped working with different symptoms for each. One only does circles, another pairs with a remote but only produces a soft click on the boat when any control is initiated with no other response and the third doesn't even do that. It may be fun to tear them down and put a more reliable 433mhz remore and receiver in them with better controls for the motors. Otherwise, they aren't anything for kids.
