Easy to assemble and a very good product
This is a good example of a design that is sturdy, looks good, and is easy to assemble. Every part was numbered and the directions were very clear. The stand came with a screwdriver, allen wrench, the only 2 tools needed to assemble it. It even came with extras of the small fasteners, screws, and dowels, which was good since one item went onto the floor, never to be seen again. Each piece is made of particle board covered with a matte black laminate, and all parts came well packed and undamaged. The unit itself is sturdy and looks good. The lower vertical slots hold albums, but are not quite tall enough to hold boxed sets. The upper compartment is a few inches short of an album, so they cannot stand, but can be stored horizintally or used for other purposes. There is a hole in the back of the top compartment if you want to run a wire from that shelf to the top. I am using the stand to hold a Rega turntable and found few other offerings wide enough for the 18 inch wide base.

Great item with the right dimensions
I searched for a long time to find a record player stand that could accommodate some simple needs: A record player that wasn't small/compact but instead full size, and a stereo receiver below it which was 17" wide. These dimensions aren't unusual but it's surprisingly hard to find a stand that can accommodate them. Record players generally need a stereo receiver so it's mystifying to me why more stands don't accommodate them properly. It went together well and looks great. I was not able to get the feet onto all the hairpin legs, but it still works fine. Using them on just some legs would allow you to level the table a bit if necessary.

Mid Century Modern piece Super Cute
I love the look of this piece. Very cool mid century modern. Easy to assemble but a bit difficult screwing in the screws in some places and really had to use lots of pressure and required rest breaks. A drill would solve that though. I just don't have one so if you don't prepare for a work out on some of the screws. It was well worth it though and I can always use a free work out, well maybe not free... but it was a bonus sort of. It is sturdy and good a surprising amount of albums. I moved them from a wood milk crate. I didn't count them but a standard wood mill crate like we used to see everywhere before the ugly plastic ones used now. I recommend it. It's super cute and serves its purpose well.

Sturdy, Looks Great, holds my AVR and Turntable!
Amazing stand for the price. I had been looking at multiple turntable stands on Amazon and this one I kept coming back to. It was easy enough to build, fairly sturdy, and easily holds my turntable, AVR, and 30-40 albums. I love it and I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on it. Only thing I don’t like are the attachments for the legs to help with balance. They fell off easily and I couldn’t find any replacements!

Looks nice and should do the job...
Overall the unit was easy to build, instructions were easy to read and they did a good job at illustrating the parts and how they are to be oriented. Once it was built, I realized that one of the pieces has the holes drilled inverse to what they should be, so just take note of how they need to be placed before screwing them together. We can make do or perhaps paint the MDF black similar to another user, but overall it works. It isn't a high end piece of furniture, almost an IKEA knockoff - but it is nice enough.

Great value for a sturdy, attractive product
I was looking for a record player stand that could store a reasonable amount of records without bending them. This was a steal for the price. Much less than any of the other similar products. Very sturdy and attractive in a simple way. The hairpin legs add a nice touch. I wanted to be able to put some plants on the top, and put the record player on the shelf instead. The back comes in two pieces, so I was able to leave the back off the top shelf for the cord to come out. It would be easy enough, with the right tool to notch out a space for the cord, if you wanted to keep the back on.

Easy to Assemble
This was one of the easiest furniture builds ever. It looks great and it’s very sturdy. I also love that it’s functional without taking up a lot of space.

Looks very nice in my room!
I love the way this looks with the other furniture in my room. I was so excited to build it so I can admire it and move all my vinyls and my record player onto it. It was easy to build, but my only problem is with the instructions. When I was building the vertical shelves where the vinyls go, I did not realize they had to be turned a certain way until I had built pretty much the entire shelf. I had to take it apart just so I could go back and flip the boards around. It was annoying, but hey, it's done now. I recommend this shelf anyways, just pay attention when you build it!
