After installing, you might need slight adjustments so the solar panel is getting sun and the camera is recording what you want.

Easy to install. Works with both the Ring Stickup Cam 3rd Generation and the Ring Stickup Cam Pro. The only thing you should be aware of is that the 3rd generation camera uses the adapter that comes with the mount. For the Pro, you have to use the base of the Pro to mount that came with your Pro to attach the Pro to the solar mount. The design is simple but there is one flaw that isnt really a concern. When you have the 3rd generation stick up cam there is a place for a screw if you take out a rubber plug at the base of the camera stand base. You should be able to align the hole with one that is on the adapter that comes with the product but the pre drilled holes dont line up. The product works perfectly fine without it but it would be nice if the design flaw is fixed, so it is harder to knock the camera from the mount on accident. Would be nice if it had picture instructions, i had the black adapter backwards for the first 5 min confused how it was gonna work till i flipped it around and saw the word "TOP".

I’ve been dealing with Ring camera reliability issues for months, and this morning was the final straw. I woke up to a dashboard full of “Reconnect to the internet” messages like my entire property suddenly moved to the moon overnight (well, ok - 2 out of 9 cams seem to be working). Spoiler: my internet is fine. Even better? I tried re-adding one of the disconnected cameras. Ring proudly told me “Setup Successful” — yet the camera still refuses to connect or show up properly. Apparently “successful” now means “good luck, buddy.” This isn’t a one-off hiccup. This is a pattern: Cameras randomly dropping offline Failed reconnects after power/network events Devices that claim to be set up but don’t actually work A web dashboard that looks like a digital crime scene No meaningful troubleshooting tools for the user And zero confidence that anything will still be working tomorrow My Wi-Fi signal is solid. My network is stable. Other devices work fine. The only thing consistently unreliable? Ring. At this point, I have more cameras than live feeds. What I don’t have is the security system I paid for. If you enjoy: Playing “Which Camera Is Dead Today?” Re-adding devices that pretend to succeed Staring at offline icons instead of actual footage And trusting your home security to cloud roulette …then Ring is perfect for you. For everyone else: look elsewhere. This system is about as dependable as a screen door on a submarine.

We purchased this solar panel for our ring camera. It keeps the camera fully charged even in winter. I can recommend this product for any external ring cameras that you have.

Great product, easy to install just need a lot of common sense and puzzle skills as the package doesn’t really come with good instructions especially for the various parts that you have to swap in or out.

Bought alongside the Spotlight Camera Pro and the Solar Panel. Super easy to set up and works great!

But, the package needs an instruction diagram showing the separation of adapter clip for smaller solar panels.
